4. TEUVO TERÄVÄINEN | hurricanes

You were tapping your hands on the bathroom counter of the airport nervously.
Your boyfriend, Teuvo Teravainen, was at home hopefully sleeping.
It was midnight.
You're in the military, and you wanted to be home for Christmas.
Your wish was granted, and now your at an airport.

You asked Tazer (Jonathan) to come pick you up at the airport.

Without warning, you saw his fluffy brown hair waiting for you.

"Tazer!" you yelled, running to him and embracing him into a hug.

"Y/N, it's so good to see you again!" Jonny says, sounding just as excited.

"Did you tell Teuvo?" you asked him nervously.
"No, I kept it a surprise." he responded.

You stepped into your house thinking the alarm was going to go off, but then you remembered Teuvo never turns it on.

You tiptoe up stairs, trying to be as quiet as you can.

You then put your stuff in the guest bedroom, so you can surprise Teuvo in the morning.

It's 8:21. You get up and go watch last nights Blackhawks game.

You then here quiet footsteps coming down the stairs.

"Crap! I must of left the tv on last night."

He comes toward the tv, and your heart is racing.

"Hi Teuvo!" You shout at him, scaring him half to death.

"Y/N, is that you?" Teuvo asks you excitedly.

"This one will answer your question!" you scream before kissing his soft pink lips.

He kisses back before pulling away and embracing you into a hug.

Man it felt so good to have his lips touch your's.

"I missed you the whole ten months that you were gone." he says to you.

"I missed you even more." you replied.

"I doubt it." he says softly before pulling you into another hug.

"I was afraid you would never come back, Y/N, but these ten months have made me a stronger man."

"And me a stronger woman." you reply.
But your homecoming was not the biggest surprise you had in store for Teuvo.

You quickly threw a mini Blackhawks Jersey into the dirty laundry pile.
"Teuvo! Come here!" you shout.
"What is it babe?" he asks you.
"I feel sick." you tell him.

"I know it's my laundry day, but can you do it today?" you asked him.

"Anything for my princess." he says.

He opens the laundry basket and it takes him a couple of minutes to find the jersey.
He shoots you a confused look.

You gave him another hint, except this one wasn't planned.

You ran to the bathroom and puked in the toilet.
Teuvo quickly came in and held your hair up.
"Y/N, are you ok?
You just kept puking into the toilet.

He still hadn't gotten it yet, and as soon as you're done doing your business in the toilet, you pull out your pregnancy test.

His eyes go wide open.

You were both still super young; age 22.

He embraces you into a hug.

"I'm going to be a dad!" Teuvo yells.

"An awesome one, too." you reply before he rubs your stomach and smiles.

"Hi little one; I see you've been causing your momma some trouble." he says.
You laugh.

"These next nine months are going to be the 2nd hardest months of my life, after the ten months you were gone." Teuvo smiles.

You return the smile before laying your head on his chest.

"I love you." you tell him.

"I love you too, and even though this little one is going to cause ups and downs, nothing will ever change that."
