"Y/L/N with a three!!!!" the announcer yells.
Two minutes left in the championship game. You played basketball for The Ohio State University, and you guys were up by four.

"C'mon Y/N/N!" your boyfriend, Markus Nutivaara yells, his heavy Finnish accent filling Value City Arena. "Beat Notre Dame!"

You could only smile at that. You searched for him up in the crowds, to let him know you heard him. You found him and smirked.

"Brianna Turner with a three!!!" the radio announcer yelled once again.

You guys were only up by one point now.

Offense. The biggest challenge.

"And Kristina Nelson steals the ball from Mikayla Waterman!"

"Fast break for Nelson! But wait! Y/L/N is only catching up! Oh my god, what a block!"

Only, it was a foul. Two shots.

"Nelson makes both." the announcer's voice was getting really annoying!

"6 seconds left. Y/F/N Y/L/N with the ball. The clock is winding down! Y/L/N shoots from half court and banks it!!!! I can't believe it! It's a NCAA miracle!"

You can't believe it! You did it!

Your thought was interrupted by your teammates running out onto the court and hugging you.
"Way to go Ohio State!" Markus yells.

You were more than happy. A championship win, awesome teammates, and an amazing boyfriend to celebrate with.

"Y/N, we did it! And only because of you!" Mikayla says to you.

"Nah, it was a team effort."

"Hey Y/N, Markus wants to see you." Coach tells you.

You don't say a word, but just follow her.

"Hey Y/N/N! I'm so happy for you!" Markus tells you sweetly.

"I couldn't of done it without you." you tell him calmly.

Before you could say more, Markus gets down on one knee. Your hands automatically went up to your mouth.

"Y/N, these past three years have been the best years of my life. From the day I met you, I knew you were the one. I can't imagine my life without you. I want you to be there with me through losses, wins, etc.  So, what do you say? Will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?"

"Yes, I will. I'll become Mrs. Nutivaara." 

Markus slides the ring onto your finger and all you could do was admire it.
