Imagine:

Love.

That's what everybody wants. Every little girl dreams that one day they will fall in love. Maybe with Prince Charming like in the Disney movies. But usually it's not Prince Charming. Usually it's not even close to Prince Charming.

I, however, got my Prince Charming. Our love was just like the fairytales. It started off as your classic princess story.

Crap. I'm late. I'm so freaking late it's not even funny. My stupid alarm clock didn't go off and now I'm going to be late on my very first day.

My dad has connections with the Toronto Maple Leafs NHL franchise so he got me a job straight out of college with a major in athletic training. I get to be an athletic trainer intern for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

I'm running down the streets of downtown Toronto from my apartment to the Air Canada Centre where the Maple Leafs are holding their morning skate. I race to the employee parking lot where I was told to meet the person that would show me around and tell me what my internship would consist of. I quickly look down at my watch before I turn the corner into the parking lot.

Wow, only ten minutes! I made up some time. I then look up to see my new boss, Jon Geller. I run over to him and apologize, "Hello sir, I'm sorry I'm so late!"

He just chuckles, "It's okay, don't worry about it. Just don't make it a habit." he says, a friendly smile plastered across his face. "Yes sir," I say, a smile now forming on mine.

"Follow me," he says as he walks through the two doors to enter the staff part of the arena. "So to start, I am going to give you your access card and ID, and then I will have one of the guys show you around." he looks at me, "Sound good?"

"Sounds great," I say, my fave starting to hurt from smiling so much.

"This way," he shows me as he leads me down a few corridors and into the dressing room of he Toronto Maple Leafs. The entire team is sitting in their stalls and when we enter they all look up at me. "Guys, this is Y/N. She is the new trainer intern," he tells all the guys. "Will one of you give her a tour of the arena? Great, thanks." Jon says before leaving the room.

"Hi, I'm Mitch Marner," Mitch says as he shakes my hand.

"Nice to meet you," I respond happily. All the guys get up and come over to me, introducing themselves.

The last guy seems a bit quieter than most of the others, speaking softly with an American accent, "Hi, I'm Auston Matthews."

"Hi," I respond, the smile on my face growing.
