6. ARTEMI PANARIN | rangers

This imagine was requested by Goalie_Heart. Sorry it took so long!

"Are you ready to go?" your brother, Patrick Kane, shouts.

"Yeah! Just give me a sec!" you reply. He was taking you to one of his practices. He plays for the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team.

The part you were most excited about was to see Artemi again.

You haven't seen him in almost a year and you were his english translator!

You two still got in touch through Skype, Twitter, Facebook, FaceTime, etc., but you were ready to finally see him in person again...

"Okay, you can wait outside so I can see if the boys are all dressed."

"Sounds good!"

You couldn't hide your excitement and Patrick could tell.

"Chill, little sis!" he said, teasing you.

"Sorry Kaner, but I just can't wait to see Panarin again!"

"Okay, and don't call me Kaner! You know I hate that!" he responds, annoyance in his voice.

Once he says that, he disappears behind the locker room door.

"Y/N! It's so good to see you again!" Artemi embraces you into a hug.

"You too! And you've really worked on your english, haven't you?" you ask, returning his hug.

"Maybe a little..."

You cut him off. "Artemi, that's so great! I can barely even tell you're from Russia anymore!"

"Thanks Y/N. It really means a lot."

"No problem." you tell him.

You were so caught up in this conversation you hadn't even noticed that Patrick was giving you the death stare. This whole time!

"Mmmmnnnnmn!" Pat murmurs.

"Oh chill, Kaner!" Artemi laughs at your sentence.

"DO NOT CALL ME KANER!" you stumble back a step.

"Whatever you say, Kaner!" you mumble, now teasing him.

"Y/N..."

"Kaner..."

Patrick waves at you.

You mouth the words 'Hello, Kaner'.

He gives you a look of both annoyance and frustration.

Although he knows it's a sibling thing, you know you could die at any given moment.

You were nervously watching Artemi being helped off the ice by the physical trainer and your brother.

A million thoughts were going through your head.

"Is he okay?

"What's wrong with him?"

"Why him? Just why?"

You were starting to panic.

As soon a Patrick came back onto the ice, he told you to go to him. Little did you know...

You ran to the locker room to see Artemi clutching his shoulder. "Artemi..." he cut you off with a quick, passionate kiss on the lips. You didn't pull away, because you've had a crush on him since the day you two met.
"Y/N, I'm just going to get to the point and say it. I've had a crush on you for a pretty long time now, and I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend?"

"Wow, you get injured but still ask me to be your girlfriend. That's the kind of man I'd want to be with. And yes, I'll be your girlfriend." you start. "Now, Kaner, um that's a different story!"
