Hope you like it!

"Do you miss him?" your friend, Y/F/N, asks you.

"Well, of course. He's my best friend." you tell her.

You had been moving frequently for almost all your life.

Detroit, Los Angeles, Seattle, Dallas, New Orleans- you've seen it all.

You had hopefully permanently settled in Detroit- again.

You and your friend had tickets to the Detroit Red Wings vs. Montreal Canadiens game tonight.

You knew Dyl is playing for the Red Wings tonight, and that's why you're excited to see the game.

--------

"We're here!" yelled Y/F/N.

"I see that; I mean, I can tell you're excited, but you need to chill!" you say to her, even though you were probably more excited than her on the inside.

Once you got out of her car, you walked inside Joe Louis Arena. You couldn't believe this was actually happening!

You found your seats and sat down. You and Y/F/N had glass seats, to see all the action and all.

The Red Wings were warming up at your end of the arena, and you banged on the glass as Dylan skated by.

He looked at you in amazement. You smiled and so did he.

-----

"And Larkin slams Andrew Shaw into the boards!" the announcer yells as the glass breaks, almost landing on you and Y/F/N.

"Sorry." Dylan mouthed.

You mouthed back, "No problem. I'm just glad to see you again!"

Dylan smiled and skated off towards the bench.

-----

"Mam, I need you to come with me." a security guard motions for you to stand up.

"Is everything alright? Did I do something wrong?" you asked.

"No, mam. I was asked to send you down to the locker room."

"Okay." All you could think was that Dylan was in there!

The security guard led you to the locker room and Dyl catches your eye.

"Dyl!" you scream, running over to him and jumping into his arms.

"Y/N! It's nice to finally see you again!" You guys hugged for what felt like a solid five minutes.

"How have you been?" you asked him.

"Okay. I'm going to be completely honest with you. Ever since you left six years ago, I couldn't stop thinking about you. Even when I tried to focus on other things like hockey, my thoughts always wandered back to you." you had been waiting for those words to come out of his mouth.

"Dyl, you had no idea that I felt the same way. I missed you like crazy! I was wondering if you would want to hang out with me after the game- win or lose?" you ask.

"Why, of course. There's some catching up needed to be done here."

"Great. See you after the game, Mr. Larkin." you knew Dylan hated that nickname growing up, and it looked like he still did. "You still hate that?"

"Yeah! Now, shoo!" he says, scolding you out of the locker room.

-----

"And your Red Wings beat the Montreal Canadiens 3-1!" the buzzer sounds, signaling the game is over.

During second intermission, the security guard gave you a pass to the locker room.

You walked down and waited for Dylan.

"Hey Y/N!" Dyl said, as you two hugged once again.
"Hey! Dylan, the only reason I'm here was to see you after so many years! I'm surprised you remembered me!"

"Y/N, you know I would never forget you. As I mentioned earlier, I couldn't stop thinking about you!" Dyl states.

Before you could respond, his lips crashed upon yours.
You had been waiting for this to happen for six freaking years!

"Reunited at last..."

This ending was horrible! Anyway, I hope you like it!
