24. ANDREW SHAW | blackhawks

Walking to Starbucks in the morning was always difficult. It is especially difficult when you have triplets on your hands, as a single mother.

Andrew never found out you were pregnant. He left right after he found a picture of you and your cousin on Instagram. Your cousin!

Anyway, you were especially nervous today because you remembered the little things Andrew does from your "relationship". He always comes to Starbucks with Brendan, Alex, Max, and Carey before morning practice.

"Just stay calm," you tell yourself, "everything will be alright."

You walk into Starbucks with your children, Aiden, Avery, and Aleksander. You were hoping, crossing your fingers, that Andrew would not be here today. But just your luck, he was.

Brendan sees you walk in the door, and his eyes go wide open. You just smile at him. You also give him a 'don't you even think about it' kind of look.

He excuses himself from the boys and comes over to you. He brings you outside, keeping you away from Shawzy.

"Y/N, it's been so long! Where have you been?" he asks you.

"Hiding," you say to him.

"Who is this man!?" Aiden asks you.

You brace yourself, "Aiden, Avery, Aleksander, this is your Uncle Brendan," you inform them.

Brendan stumbles back in shock, "Excuse me, Y/N, but did I here you correctly? Did you just say 'Uncle Brendan'?"

"Yes, I did, you're an Uncle, Brendan."

"How come you didn't tell Andrew, or better yet, one of us!?"

"I was afraid, okay!"

"Alright, okay, I'm going to go back to the table," Brendan explains to you.

Brendan goes back to where the boys are sitting and then you walk in. Brendan gives you a 'just be ready if anything happens' look and you nod.

Just when you feel like this day couldn't get any worse, Andrew turns around. Him. He turns around and sees you.

He immediately gets up. He then proceeds to walk over to you, "Y/N, it's so good to see you after so long," he then spots Avery, Aleksander and Aiden, "and who are these little guys?"

"Andrew, you're a dad."

He looks like he is angry now, "Why didn't you tell me!? I wanted to be there for you four. But now you probably won't ever take me back because I left you and I was stupid and..."

"Andrew!" Chucky yells.

"Andrew, I was pregnant when you left me. And I didn't come back and tell you because I was afraid. Really afraid. I was scared that you wouldn't want to be a part of their lives and that you would hate me. But now here we are, together again."

It looked like he was tearing up, "Oh, Y/N, I'm so sorry! Please take me back!"

You thought for a while, "Just let me have time to think about my decision. I'll get back to you as soon as possible," you manage to wave goodbye to Pacioretty, Gally, Alex, and Pricey. You then walked out of the door, leaving a heartbroken Shawzy with his heartbroken teammates (a/n: ?).
