Josh was turning over in his bed, his arm feeling around for Tyler's warm body. When he felt nothing but a cold and brisky wind against his bare arm, he rushed up and looked around for any sign of Tyler but it was like a deserted island around here. He out of bed and threw on some sweat pants and a hoodie, rubbing his eyes lazily. When he opened them up again, he noticed Tyler's computer screen was turned out with a post-it note attached to it.
"Weird." He thought out loud as he read the words play me.
Josh played the video was opened and his mouth dropped. A video of Tyler popped up, seeing the boy panicking as he looked around, screaming. There was no volume but Josh knew exactly what he was saying, he'd seen Tyler's lips mouth his name so many times. Tyler appeared to be trapped inside a box. When the lights turned out, Josh noticed a particular detail that broke his soul: dirt surrounded the box.
Suddenly, the video ended and a text popped up saying "three million dollars in cash by sundown or he dies.". Josh fainted and hit his head on the way down.
