Seline's POV

I rubbed my forehead and sighed. I got so worried when I got the call from Mason about my little girl being in the emergency room.

I took a deep breath and looked over at Jason, watching him as he looked over at me too.

"She's okay, don't worry." He whispered soothingly. I nodded, breathing in and out to calm myself.

I put my head in my hands, "I just-- I can't help but be worried about her. I mean we just got her back and she's already hurt..." I whispered, taking a glance at him through my fingers. He nodded understandingly. He looked away from me and started to speak,

"I get it, I'm worried too. Our little girl is in the hospital! Why wouldn't I be worried? I just-- I hope she's okay." He mumbled, looking at me once again.

I nodded and ran my hand through my hair, making it much more of a mess than it previously was.

He moved his chair closer to me and wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me into him. I kissed his lips. I breathed in and pulled apart. I kissed his fingertips and sighed. I looked back and smiled.

Something is telling me that she's okay...

Alex's POV

I grabbed the release papers, holding my crutches under my arms and limping over to the waiting room chairs. I signed the release papers with great restraint, and then gave them back to the woman.

She nodded and didn't even acknowledge me, chewing her bubble gum loudly, while typing on her keyboard. I rolled my eyes.

All of a sudden Mason walked over, his black t-shirt hugging his biceps and abs.

I looked back at the woman who wasn't paying attention to anything around her. She was studying her nails and narrowing her eyes at anyone who came to the receptionist desk, where she was currently sitting.

Mason cleared his throat loudly, his deep cough echoing around the room and people couldn't help but watch him and his every move. They also couldn't help but stare at his beauty. I bit my lip to keep from saying something I'd regret.

"Ugh! May I help you?! Can't you see I'm bu--" She stopped mid sentence, looking up at Mason. She started drooling. She quickly fixed her posture and smiled sweetly at him, leaning forward more to show more of her cleavage. I rolled my eyes.

"How may I help you, hot stuff?" She smirked, her gum still making smacking noises in her mouth. Mason grimaced.

"Uh, I'm just here to take my girlfriend home. If you don't mind, that is." He smirked, looking down and winking at me.

"GIRLFRIEND?!" She screeched, sounding like an annoying banshee.

"Oh I'm sorry, did you really think I'd go for someone as rude to my girl, as you just were?" He narrowed his eyes, crossing his arms cockily and looking at her with a perfect raised eyebrow.

She stuttered on her words, "B-but! I'm so much prettier than that." She growled, glaring at me. I glared back.

"Sure you are, and I'm Dr.Seuss." He rolled his eyes, and I seen her eyes light up.

"You are?!" She gasped, smiling like a little kid. I snickered.

"It's called sarcasm." He mumbled, staring at her.

She blushed, "I knew that! I was just testing you!" She yelled quickly, earning a lot of unwanted attention.

"Right, have a good day now." Mason smirked, sending her a wink. I watched as she swooned and fainted.

"Typical." He mumbled, making me laugh.
