DISJOINTED
Today I’m disjointed
A puppet, no strings
So very disappointed
Depleted, worn thin.
Today I’m disjointed
I may just give in
So worried, so pointless
Where shall I begin?
Today I’m disjointed
There seems little hope
No anchor, no linchpin
At the end of my rope.
Today I’m disjointed
No reason to live
No lighthouse to guide me
So little to give.
I woke up disjointed
Dying within
A note on my pillow
Said be strong now, you'll win.
Can I be repointed?
You seem to think so
Your love and your kindness
Let’s give it a go.
Your love undefeated
You’ll never give in
Your love will uplift me
A new day,
Begin.
