SOMETIMES

Sometimes a sigh can be so heart-rending it’s as if your soul has left you and been carried away on the wings of an angel

Our thoughts so overwhelming it feels as if our brains may implode with the trauma of the moment

Sometimes our sorrow defies explanation or reason while our tears flow like rivers from our eyes until they’re dry

Sometimes we question our existence, our life and our death, while all we understand is our never ending pain

Sometimes it takes forever for us to see the light, while we drift on dreaming of a day when all things will be right

Then sometimes a simple hug, a comforting touch or a warm and loving smile can be all that we need to help us believe that everything’s worthwhile and hope is still alive.
