SILENCE
Sometimes it pays to sit in silence, to let the quiet fill the void
Allow the heavy lull of stillness calm your manic mind to sleep
Sometimes it’s good to have tranquillity, to curb the tongue and censor speech
Just permit some inactivity, noiselessness is such a treat
Such a feat defies probability, and possibly you won’t complete
But sometimes silence is so very necessary
If your sanity you wish to keep.
