AT THE END OF THE DAY

At the end of the day when you’re tired and weary

When you climb up the stairs and make ready for bed

Do you reflect on your day and all it has given?

Are you thankful for all that it’s brought and withstood?

Do you count all your blessings be they humble or great?

And appreciate family, friends and best mates?

Can you stand up to all and faithfully say

That you’ve made the very best of every second of your day?

That you’ve given to all more than received?

That you’ve showed love, been caring, sincere and a friend?

If this picture fits warmly you have a right to sleep tight

So rest well, you deserve it; your dreams should be bright

And may tomorrow bring great joy, wisdom and light

I applaud you, you’re brilliant; you’ve done everything right.
