~The Right Time~

Jongin's P.O.V.

I sat inside my chamber, just woke up from the deep slumber I had, it's still quite early so I wanted to rest again but then a knock from my chamber's door and a cery loud voice just woke meup even more.

"Prince Jongin, are you awake?"

"What do you need eunch Jongdae?" I spoke while lying back on my bed, I actually wanted to spend time with my son, I missed almost 5 or 6 years of his life so I wanted to catch things up with him and do my best to try to open up with him,  but since it'd still quire early and kids sometimes get up late I decided to go back to sleep again.

"Abeoji!"... wait a second... that sounds like Taeoh... I hurriedly sat up on the mattress and then went out of my chamber with Eunch Jongdae just smiling on the side as my son happily jumps once he saw me walking towards him.

"Prince Taeoh"

"Can we please play Prince Jongin?" He flashed his puppy eyes which I knew he got from his mother, Yuri's eyes are very much beautiful and that is the reason why I fell for her. Her mother instincts and wonderful attitude just made me fall for her ever more.

"Sorry, Taeoh wanted to visit you to play today" Then beside her is Yuri who just gave me a small smile, probably embarrassed that our son had to wake me up early in the morning just to play... although he's really energetic in the morning.

"No it's alright, I want to spend some quality time with my son today"

The three of us then went to the main hall where the archery and swords are there, actually Taeoh wanted to learn archery from me and since it's what we both like, I said yes and now we're here playing. But unlike our son, Taeoh, who's very energetic, Yuri on the other hand looks very much down.

"Are you okay?"

"Is it okay if Crowned Prince Chanyoung can play with you and Taeoh?" She seems deep in thought althought I know she's just worried for the Queen and the crowned prince.

"Why? Did something happened to the crowned prince?"

"You heard what happened to the queen didn't you? About the King and the Queen?" Yeah, that incident the other day, it must've hurted a lot for the queen since I know that she's starting to fall in love with my brother. Although he's cold and spiteful, the queen still managed to find kidness in his heart and fell in love with him.

"Is the queen alright?"

"I don't think so, she refused to see anyone aside from Prince Chanyeol, your cousin, she also refused to see her son, that's why the crowned prince Chanyoung is gloomy and sad lately"

"I heard he had a talk with the king yesterday"

"He did, and said hurtful things he witnessed his mother kept and felt, he also said things about leaving the palace and good thing that the king isn't that quite angry at his son's words"

Maybe it's because of the pull they have, the bond they have for each other that makes them understand the things why they said those words. Maybe for King Baekhyun, what his son said is hurtful but he knows and understand why he said those words, he probably know now that his son is also hurt whenever he sees his mom hurting emotionally.

"Crowned Prince Chanyoung" I turned to my left and greeted the crowned prince just when I saw him walking towards us, he gave me a small smile but I know it was just forced.

"Annyeong Prince Jongin, Lady Yuri and Prince Taeoh"

"Want to play with me crowned prince? Abeoji will play with us" Prince Taeoh's face instantly lifts the moment he saw his cousin, they look lovely together especially now that Crowned Prince Chanyoung needs someone as a friend.

"Is it okay for me to play with you?" The crowned pribce looks quite hesitating and I know it's all because of the king not wanting to accept him as his blood, he must've felt lonely whenever his mom is not by his side...

"It's an honor Crowned Prince Chanyoung" A smile instantly lit on his face as he then ran towards Taeoh who is now trying to teach him to play the archery, if I'm not mistaken the Crowned Prince Chanyoung likes swords more than archery but the way he handles the intruments is very professional... I wonder how did he learn to use these things...

Yuri's P.O.V.

I was watching my son, Prince Jongin and Crowned Prince Chanyoung playing as I sat here a few meters away from them on a chaor which was provided for me.

"The two cousins look handsome and good playing together" A familiar voice made me quite shocked so I turned to my side and saw the queen smiling quite happily, Prince Jongin also saw her so we both gave her a polite bow to honor her.

"Queen Taeyeon"

"It's okay, just continue what you are doing Prince Jongin and sit down Lady Yuri"

"Are you okay your majesty? My queen?" I asked, another chair is provided for us but I first offered my seat to the queen, she looked really calm and somewhat lively than the other day when the incident happened.

"I just needed some time to breathe, I just needed to rest a bit"

"Do you plan on leaving?"

"I'm a Queen Lady Yuri, and a queen wouldn't turn on her back, instead I have to sacrifice in order for my country and the places I reign over to be untied and to have peace, I have to sacrifice many things even if it includes my happiness"

Even if she's hurt... even if there's pain... she still chose to be the mother and the leader of the whole nation... she chose to protect everyone than protecting just herself... A wondeful and perfect queen but not a very perfect mother and better half, she's someone who still gets hurt, who still has her flaws....

"But we're here my queen, we're here to always support you in every decision you make and Crowned Prince Chanyoung is here to love you unconditionally"
