Newt scooped you into his arms, kissing you forcefully on the mouth. You kissed back whole-heartedly, wrapping your arms around his neck. You broke away and laughed as he spun her around.
"Happy New Year, my love!" Newt whispered to you, jis lips pressing a tender kiss to your temple.
You smiled at your boyfriend, you kissed him gently on the lips. "Happy New Year, Salamander." you giggled at his old nuckname.
