Suspended at the brink of insanity.
Everything around you just seems to be closing in.
You're lured into a valve of darkness and there's no going back.

What do you do?

When your fears are overpowering you is there a way to escape?
When you're being overburdened by your own emotions can you let go of them?
When your heart longs for something forbidden can you choose to forget?

When you can't find the light to your darkness, at least find comfort in the smallest of things that make you smile.

I ponder over the past, dream of the future and write of the present.

I hope these poems can be your comfort object, or that friend you can always depend on.

I hope they can be the light to that valve of darkness, and the music to your whisper of silence.

I hope they can be the light to that valve of darkness, and the music to your whisper of silence

Dear Future Me,
This one's for you.
I hope that one day all these wishes and dreams come true. I also hope that all this anguish, pain and anger tides over.
I hope that one day, when you look back at these poems, you'll smile to yourself and be proud of  how much you've grown.
I hope it gets better.
