Tip Over The Edge

I'm stranded a hundred feet up in the air,
To fall off the edge, I think I would dare
Wind blowing in my face as I take a deep breath,
Awaiting the icy clutches of Death

I'm stranded a hundred feet up in the air,
I'm too numb to cry, to done to care
I can walk and walk till I fall of the edge,
Or dangle my feet right off the ledge

As the thoughts whirl around and the words don't stop,
I want to crawl off, fly, then drop
Crashing to my end, right at my pace,
One thing to be sure of in this wild place

I'm stranded a hundred feet up in the air,
My hands are trembling and my feet are bare
I don't want to think of consequences, of the people around,
I don't want to think of Judgement, in my sorrows I'll drown

I'll tip right over, off the radar of life,
It's much more easier than pills or a knife
I'll walk and walk till there's no land beneath,
Fly till I can't even feel my own feet

I'll make the last of my moments and soar through the sky,
And fall from a building up high
I'll put on a brave face and take my last breath,
Then fall into the icy clutches of Death.
