Ice Cream Shop

When you're reading the menu, everything is a delight,
But when you see two perfect flavours, it doesn't always end right
You try a spoon of chocolate and a bite of the vanilla,
It's like choosing between orangutans and their cousins the gorillas
How can you choose between two best friends, between two loved classics,
It's like choosing between Harry Potter and Percy Jackson- come on they're both fantastic
Milk and cookies go hand in hand, don't forget burgers and french fries,
Just like the Sun and the silver Moon, tears and cheery smiles
Making a decision is the hardest task, especially between two you love,
You keep pondering over the choices endlessly, until you've had enough
Screaming and crying internally, waiting for the time to pass by,
Each and every moment in hesitation, but you know you have to try
Eventually you have to ponder over your options through and through,
And when you have, you wish you didn't even try to choose
But just try and make up your mind, it'll help you further in time,
You don't have to worry about your accomplishments or your wasted crimes
When I've finally had a taste of the extraordinary two, I try what I'd always known,
Thanking the shop owner, I walk out the ice cream store, licking my strawberry ice cream cone.

Sometimes, the hardest task in life is to make a choice. A choice between two things you adore. But I guess the only way to open that door marked "future" is to go with what your mind and heart tell you to. Go ahead, make your decision. You might regret it later on, but it's just a passing phase. More opportunities will be coming your way, so stay strong and live on.
