Something to look up
High up in the sky,
Fireworks erupt
I feel happier than ever,
A weight off my chest,
Where the hole in my heart was,
There's now no regret
A magical fairytale,
One to be retold,
To generations up ahead,
As the story unfolds
A match made in heaven,
I'm smiling ear to ear,
When I see you two together,
I'm shedding happy tears
I wish that I could say this,
Without crystals in my eyes,
Without doubt edging my voice,
As I smile while I cry
I wish that I could say,
That this was better than ever,
Without sarcasm hitting my tone,
When I imagine you two together
I wish that I could say,
That this was a fairytale,
Without lashing out at my own pity party,
But I have miserably failed.
