Getting past the sins, the wasted crimes
A seed becoming a plant, watching it grow,
Slowly emerges the petals, with the years you'll know
That when the flowers bloom on the older one,
She must have her freedom, must see the sun
But when there's opportunity, there are challenges to face,
There is room for laughter, but make way for the darker days
Watching it all slip away,
Faking happiness, pretending you're okay
Everything you have ever lived for,
Waiting for the sun while the rain still pours
Everything you have ever crafted with care,
Someone must destroy, your love they will tear
A blink of an eye or a bat of an eyelash,
One second of haste and you watch it all crash
Watching it all slip away,
You still remain waiting for that brighter day.
