Close your eyes, open your mind,
You don't know the great things you're bound to find
Broaden your spectrum, look at a different angle,
Change your perspective and the thoughts will get tangled
Try out new colours, to paint the canvas of your mind,
Play with the different tactics, search for unique kinds
Put yourself in another's shoes,
Mask your opinions, there are too many to choose
Be a different person, look in another light,
See the world through another's eyes
Change your mindset, forget the past,
Try out new roads to the problem you fixed last
Pick a different outfit, camouflage your thoughts,
Look at the dreams you've already caught
Search for another answer, hunt for another key,
I'm making it an adventure to find the real me.

This is a poem dedicated to one of my best friends, who, one fine day felt like she didn't know herself. She felt like there were too many shades of those colours she radiated.
There were too many sides to her.
If you ever feel that way, don't hesitate to make an adventure out of it. Close your eyes, open your mind and broaden your spectrum. There are no bounds to what you might find about your inner self.
