The Date - Part 1 - Derek Hale

It was a Friday 7:40 in the evening he was coming to pick me up at 8:00 sharp in his black Chevrolet Camaro. "20 minutes that's all 20 minutes, 20 minutes to see him, 20 minutes until he would greet me with a kiss and a hug, 20 minutes until our first date" I said pacing in the living room back and forth.

Edie was sitting on the sofa with her legs crossed and said "Gurl chill it's going to be fine he'll treat you to a good dinner hold your hand, waist maybe touch your thigh if you get what I mean *wink*" being her usual sassy self laughing a little at the panicky situation I was in.

"Well I don't know I don't know I don't KNOW" I said raising my voice a little sounding panicky as Scott walked into the room.

"Hey girls I was just talking to stiles and -- wow Amber you look nice" he said stopping at the door hands in pockets shoulder meaning again the door frame.

"Thanks Scott" after he said this his gaze went to Edie as grin spread across his face he said "That reminds me" looking towards her making suggestive faces, brushing his fingers through his hair walking over and sat down next to her and put his arm around her. I sat down at this point as he places a slight kiss on her forehead she replied with a small giggle that I chuckled a little at and soon before we knew it we all were in a small fit of hysterics when Stiles walked in I jumped up.

"Scott why did you A-A-Amber ? You look -- wow I don't know what to say just cuz stay safe and don't do anything you don't want to" he said walking over to me placing a hand on my shoulder and pointing a finger in my face in a staring sort of way.

"Stiles I am 18, I'm your cousin, I'm 2 years older than you plus Edie taught me some Judo if I do get in trouble," I said using my fingers to count my reasons

",but I don't think I'll be needing it tonight" I said crossing my arms over my chest holding one of my elbows.

"And by god why ?" He asked. By the time he said this I knew Edie had reached over to the table to grab the bowl of popcorn silently eat them with Scoot as they were watching our "argument"

"Because I'm going with ..." I said mumbling a little.

"With ?" He said raising his voice a little using his hands to make a 'speed it up action'

"I'm going with Derek" I said smiling looking him into the eyes as his mouth opened and closed raising his hand and lowering it putting his hands on his head spinning around being Stiles as usual.

"No no no no no NO, You can't go with Derek ?!?! That sour wolf will chew you up and spit you out and not give 2 damns about how it leaves you" he said ranting.

"Stiles" I said trying to calm him down

"Stiles calm down it's fine we've been dating for a year now" I said putting my hand on his shoulder. But I don't know why this surprised me but he did exactly the same thing before I knew it Edie replied with a small high pitched "oooo" I her usual sassy tone and said "You didn't tell him"

"You knew ?!?!" He said going off. But just to my luck I looked at my lunar phase watch and the time was 8:00 o'clock sharp. When I heard a tap on the door and a calm voice said "Amber are you ready ?" I walked to the door and opened it as Stiles ran into the hall and was behind me peaking over my shoulder, which was hard for him so he put his head under my arm, "Yes Derek I am shall we go ?" He stood there taken back a little his eyes widened a little and a smile spread across his face as Stiles, Scott and Edie where in the hallway watching out every move.

"Uh yes we should princess"
He said slightly giddy which I had never seen before blushing slightly as he had never called me a princess before. He held out his hand,like the gentleman he is,and I put my hand in it grabbing my keys, coat and bag before leaving "Bye everyone enjoy your niiiight~"

Edie replied with "Yas Gurl you too loves you~!have fun~!"

"Oh and Stiles we are going to have a serious talk when I get back young man" I said shooting him of my looks as Edie and Scott looked at him with a slightly sympathetic look whilst covering their mouths trying not to laugh.

"Ye-Yes ma'am" he said shakily as he folded his hands under his armpits.

When I closed the door Derek held my hand with both of his and briefly kissed it as I hand my bag over my shoulder coat and in keys in my free arm. I put my hand ,still holding my keys and coat, held my check and slightly blushed I brought my head forward and Derek pulled away and gave me a quick kiss on the lips as I  pulled away slightly shocked and amused at this action.

Derek's POV

It was 7:50 as I arrived at the house, that was full of my surprisingly good friend and my one and only girlfriend Amber. I wonder what she looks like ? When I reached the house I could see through the window that Stiles was having an argument with Amber and as usual Scott and Lyall were being the witnesses and taking mental notes as usual not getting involved. Luckily that I'm a werewolf I could hear what they were arguing about

"No no no no no NO, You can't go with Derek ?!?! That sour wolf will chew you up and spit you out and not give 2 damns about how it leaves you" he said ranting. I was offended by this "sourwolf?" I said to myself walking toward the door

"Stiles" Amber said trying to calm Stiles down

"Stiles calm down it's fine we've been dating for a year now" She said putting my hand on his shoulder. Lyall replied with a small high pitched "oooo" in her usual tone and said "You didn't tell him"

"You knew ?!?!" Stiles said overreacting as usual. I heard for a little longer when I looked at my watch and saw that it was 8:00 sharp and lightly knocked on the door

"Amber are you ready?" I said calmly through the door. When she opens the door I saw that stupid boy that Amber calls her cousin was looking under her arm which was covering the door frame when she did this I saw her long perfectly curly hair cascading down her chest and shoulders down to the nape of her back as it was swept to one side covering one of her beautiful brown eyes as she looked at me through one of them giving me a hearty smile with her perfect teeth, and voluptuous lips that were coloured a dark purple.
"Yes Derek I am"

I stood back in awe and looked her up and down with my eyes as a smile spread across my face. I was just so happy to see her standing there looking like a princess,my princess and only mine if anyone was to even think about touching a hair on her head they would be begging for mercy my and only my mercy.

But I cared for the protection and safety of Amber and only Amber. Tonight was our night

"Uh yes we should princess" but before we left she said "We are going to have a serious talk when I get back young man" She said shooting him of her serious looks,that I loved so much, as Edie and Scott looked at him with a slightly sympathetic look whilst covering their mouths trying not to laugh.

"Ye-Yes ma'am" he said shakily as he folded his hands under his armpits.

When she closed the door I grabbed one of her free hands and kissed it softly she leaned forward slightly and I thought it the perfect opportunity to quickly,careful not to hurt her, move my head up and give her a brief kiss on this lips that I thought would last but I could she was slightly embarrassed by this action as I looked up to see her cute little cheeks go slightly red.

I saw out of the corner of my eye Stiles staring directly at us with a pissed look that I had never seen him do before,I was slightly impressed, but looked I him directly in the eyes as he abruptly tumbled backwards onto the sofa his arms and legs flailing in every direction.

I gestured towards my car and gestured my elbow towards her and she cupped her arm underneath mine as we both walked towards the car. I let go of her arm slowly and opened the car door for her as she quickly put her coat on and put her keys into her small bag and put it over her shoulder and got into the car.

My POV

He took my arm in his and walked towards the car when we got to the car Derek slightly took his arm from mine and opened the car door for me, I had never seen him act so chivalrous around me before, it was weird but extremely impressive and only drew me towards him more. I put in my coat putting my jacket on, putting my keys into my bag and over my shoulder and got into the car. When I got in Derek walked around the front of the car as got in and said grabbing my hand in his and kissing it and said "Shall we being this date then ?"
