Chapter 23. (*Half Sister*)

Chapter 23.

My sister...

I could feel my heart split inside of my body, my lip slightly quivering.

Oh how I missed her.

I didn't have many memories with her.

That was mostly because she wasn't my full sister...

My mom...she made a mistake.

She was drunk and didn't know any better.

She had an affair.

But she didn't tell my...dad...she followed along with the pregnancy but made my...dad...well father, think it was his child.

When she was around 1 1/2 she broke down and told him, the guilt had been eating her alive.

He didn't take that well and that's where things sky rocketed.

Life at home wasn't as great as before, wasn't nearly as bad as what it was a couple years ago but they were just yelling, occasionally throwing things.

But when the babies real father found out about how his daughter was living at her house he became angry.

He went to court and demanded custody for his child, saying that my mom and father were not fit to have an infant around.

Sadly I was stuck in the same house, alone and confused.

My mom got even worse after that.

I've never seen her since, she apparently lives with an older brother, that I've never met and her happy mother and father.

I wanted to see her again, but I couldn't. They wouldn't let me.

No one would let me.

Tears dripped down my face and dropped onto my lap.

"Cassidy?" Ashton asked confused, his attention now confusingly on me.

"Why are you crying" he asked, shoving his phone into his pocket and moving closer to me.

"It's nothing" I sniffled.

"No, don't close yourself, tell me love" he whispered, holding me into his chest.

"Well uh I was just, I was just thinking of my sister" I whimpered, breaking into sobs again.

He began to rub my back.

"Shhh" he coo'ed.

"I didn't know you had a sister" he whispered.

I nodded.

"Do you want to talk about her" he asked. I shook my head. "Are you sure" he starred into my glossy eyes.

I nodded once more, wiping my tears with my shirt.

I needed to get my mind off of everything bad, just for once. But every time I tried the bad things would rush in and destroy my happiness.

"Well love, we're here" Luke said, smiling brightly at me, showing off his perfectly straight, white teeth.

I gave a small smile back.

I guess now we are gonna go shopping.

I deleted chapters that weren't actually chapters, they were just like (A/N)'s but anyway when I did that I lost reads and I was at like 8.5K or something and now I'm back down to like 5.7K so I was pretty upset with myself.

And I lost votes too. 😭😭😭 cries. :'(.

But I'm going to make more chapters and try hard to get it all back guys.

Btw I know this chapter is weird, it's like 2AM and I just randomly wrote down stuff so yeah if it doesn't make any sense idk just deal with it lmfao.
