Chapter 36(Luke?)

Chapter 36.

When I woke up, all I could feel was pain.

I arched my back letting out a cry as the pain struck me.

My hands flung to my head, squeezing the pain away but harshly failing.

My leg ached and my head throbbed.

Tears had already started pouring out of my eyes.

I couldn't handle the pain, I needed Luke to wake up.

I turned to my right to see an empty bed.

My eyes widened when I realized I was alone and I quickly threw my legs off the side of the bed and started making my way down the hall.

I ignored the pain, I was focused on getting down stairs...

Safely

I limped my way down the stairs not looking back as small whimpers escaped my lips.

When I made it to the kitchen I became quiet.

The pain silencing me.

The boys hadn't realized I was there, they were getting everything ready; Luke was cooking what smelt like bacon and eggs, Michael and Calum were setting the table and Ashton was grabbing the napkins.

The first to notice me was Calum.

He gasped, dropping what he was doing and rushing to me.

He picked me up, setting me on the counter as I cried into him.

I bit my tongue, the pain hitting me from walking on my bad leg.

I cried into Calum as everyone was now onto what I needed.

Ashton came with a damp cloth, wiping my tears and setting it on my head.

Michael held my hand as Luke came with the medications.

They all backed up as Luke rushed to smash the pills in with the yogurt.

He picked me up and carried me to the couch, grabbing a pillow throwing it down and setting me onto it.

I rested my head, he quickly fed me the yogurt and told me the pain would go away soon.

My tears were wiped away with the cloth.

They switched my head bandage then rested the warm cloth on my head.

I closed my eyes after taking a sip of the fresh glass of water.

I tried ignoring the pain.

Waiting for the medication to kick in.

Should be any minute now...

I waited and waited...

And finally the pain started to disappear, I sighed letting out a deep breath.

"Are you alright baby" Luke asked, gently setting his big hand on my cheek.

I nodded, nudging into his hand.

"Why were you up so early," I croaked opening my eyes to stare into his.

"We uh we wanted to make you some breakfast, how are you feeling" he smiled down at me.

Calum, Ashton and Michael made sure I was ok before returning back to the kitchen to make sure it hadn't caught on fire.

"Bad" I groaned, shuffling around a bit, trying to get comfortable without any pain.

Luke sat down beside me.

He stroked his fingers through my hair, kissing my forehead gently.

"How about we turn on a movie for now" he said, getting up and turning on the tv.

"Ok" I said softly, shifting the cloth that was on my head, and closing my eyes.

I was safe.

Luke was here.

I heard the sound of the tv, but I didnt open my eyes.

I was exhausted, I heard Luke 'quietly' walk back into the kitchen to help the boys.

I blocked out the tv, the clanking of dishes and the whispers of the boys in the other room, and instead drifted off into a hopefully peaceful nap before breakfast.

Sorry I'm so late. Like months late god damn.

I'm so so so so so so sorry for the loooooooong wait especially for such a short chapter omg.

This is a boring one anyways

So the reasons I haven't been on lately

•I have had tons of projects, literally It's so overwhelming

•I have my culminating assessment which is worth like 30% of my grade, and that's for each class

•then more assignments for each class pretty much all due on the same day

•I was behind in some classes so I had extra homework ugh

•I've had like 3 unit tests, 2 today actually

•now I gotta study for exams which are in like a week

•and then I gotta do all my exams so I'm sorry

So don't hate me hehe
