Chapter 26.(what just happened)

Chapter 26.

I made my way down stairs, happily skipping down the steps, my hand held tightly onto the railing as I made my way to the bottom.

I hummed along to a song that was curiously stuck inside my head, almost like a creepy lullaby.

But something made me stop, instantly tensing as goosebumps raised on my arms and the hair on the back of my neck stood up.

The lullaby vanished from my mind, as a cold shiver drew down my spine. "Cassidy," I gasped hearing a whisper by my ear.

My hand came off the railing as I covered my mouth in fear. I trembled, my eyes widening in fright, tears filling my eyes, and my breathing becoming jagged.

I gulped, about to ignore it and continue down when I felt a sharp push to my shoulder and I tumbled down the stairs.

I screamed in pain, as my body crashed and slammed into the continuous stairs. I heard a snap, and a sharp pain in my side, I screamed loudly, biting my lip as I continued to fall the rest of the flight.

Tears poured out of my eyes, streaming down my face as I whaled in agony.

"Cassidy?" I heard the boys yell.

I hit the ground with a thud, my head smashing onto the hard wooden floor, my eyes became heavy as the pain flared through my body, my eyes closed in pain, but I forced them open.

When I opened them I let out a shriek as I saw her, standing innocently with a grin plastered onto her face.

My heart thumped hard in my chest as my eyes slammed shut, and I was taken away to unconsciousness.

So sorry guys I said I was gonna update on like Thursday but stuff came up and it was my younger brothers birthday and I've been busy, so here.
