- Lillian's POV -

Wilmer was sitting right in front of me.

i just pushed all of the thoughts out of my head and pulled out my paper and pencil and began to write 'i will now be disrespectful'.

we were driving for about 2 minutes without a sound.

"Can i have my phone to listen to music at least?" i asked Demi.

she sighed. "As long as you're writing, you can have your phone." she said as she handed me my phone.

i took it and my headphones and turned it on.

i played 'Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word' by Elton John.

i continued to write when i heard a 'ping' noise coming through my headphones.

i picked up my phone and unlocked it.

a text message?

from who?

it was from a number i'd never seen before.

i opened the message and read it.

heyyyy! this is Josie xo

i smiled and texted back.

hey! whats up?

i wrote while i waited for her to text back.

i saved her number in my phone.

nothing. i was wondering if we could hang out tomorrow?

she texted back.

i dont know. let me ask.

i looked up after pulling my headphones out.

"Demi?" i said aloud.

"Yes?" she asked, looking back at me through the mirror.

"Um, can i hang out with someone tomorrow?" i asked, nervously.

she shook her head. "Absolutely not." she answered.

"Ugh... what if i finish all this writing before tomorrow at noon?"

she thought about it. "Alright."

i squealed with excitment and she rolled her eyes.

i heard Wilmer laugh.

"What's so funny?" i asked with a slight attitude.

"Don't mess it up for yourself, Lillian." Demi said.

i sighed and put my headphones back in, texting Josie back.

she said yes. we can meet up at starbucks around 1pm

i began writing again but faster than before.

* time skip cuz shit is getting boring as fuck *

its been such a long day.

i finished my 500 sentences like 5 minutes ago.

its dinner time and Wilmer cooked spaghetti.

"I'm not hungry." i mumbled before satrting up the stairs to my room.

"Lillian..." Demi said with a warning voice.

"Demi..." i said mockingly.

"Come back down here and drink an Ensure at least. " she said, pleadingly.

i sighed loudly. "No."

"Now."

"No."

"Lillian, please dont argue with me right now."
