stiles was always overprotective of you. you were his best friend and the girl he was in love with, but you didn't know that last part. he always had to sit around and watch you fall for guys he knew weren't good enough for you. but he knew he finally had to do something when you burst into his room, tears streaming down your cheeks. "woah y/n, what's wrong?" "h-he cheated on me." you hiccuped. stiles always sensed that he was an asshole but never thought he would do something like that. his fists clenched and he stood up. "what are you doing stiles?" "i'm going to go teach that dick a lesson." you scrunched your eyebrows "you know how to fight?" "i mean, something like this hopefully." he said while raising his fists and punching the air. you laughed and stood up, wrapping your arms around him and nuzzling your head into his neck. "i love you, stilinski." his heart rate increased but stopped once he realized you were saying it as a friend. "yeah, i love you too y/n."
