as isaac sat beside your hospital bed, he thought about all of the things he wished he did differently.
after the pack fought the onis, allison argent lost her life and you were in critical condition. melissa mccall had informed the pack that they weren't sure if you would wake up or not as you were only human and couldn't heal yourself.
isaac wished he wouldn't have allowed you to go. you wouldn't be in this situation in the first place if he would have just put his foot down and said no. but he didn't and now here you were.
"i'm sorry, y/n. i was supposed to keep you safe and instead i allowed you to stand face to face with danger. this is my fault."
after a long silence, he felt your hand grab his softly. your eyes weren't open and you didn't say anything but isaac knew you were still alive and that's all he could think about.
and he promised himself that he wouldn't let you put yourself in danger anymore. he wouldn't let you have the same fate as allison.
