as you made your way to the bleachers to watch your best friends, scott and stiles practice, you noticed mason sitting alone. you had talked to him a few times since he found out about the supernatural but not a lot.
you made your way to him and sat down. he jumped slightly at the sudden movement next to him but smiled when he saw you. "oh, hey y/n."
"hey mason." you said smiling at him.
you wanted to see how he was doing after finding out his best friend was a werewolf. "so um, how are you doing after uh, you know."
"i'm surprisingly doing well. i've actually been researching a lot."
he showed you all of the things he printed out and wrote down, your eyes widening at all of the research he had. "you took it a lot better than i did. i punched scott when he showed me!"
he laughed before putting all of his papers away.
for the rest of the practice, you both talked about different supernatural creatures running around beacon hills. you didn't know it then but you would soon find yourself falling for the boy.
