That Night That Changed Everything...

"Sam!" I hear Caitlin Snow screaming my name.

I'm late as usual. I stealthily try to get to the cortex without Dr Wells finding out I'm late. You do not know how stressed he is but I don't blame him. The particle accelerator is gonna be turned on tonight and this could lead to a bright future for Star Labs.I've been working for almost a year now here and it's been a rollercoaster trying to finish the particle accelerator in time for it to be turned on.

"Sam we know your here stop trying to act like we don't" Cisco Ramon one of the most chilled guys I've ever met actually sounded mad."You know the particle accelerator is being turned on tonight but you still didn't think to come quick to work?!" Cisco sounded serious at this point.

"Sorry Cisco I slept in as I was the last one here working on a project" I said feeling guilty about being late on such an important day. I threw my jacket onto my desk and quickly logged in before Dr Wells turned up.

"Miss Smith did you really think I would not notice are daily late comer coming late once again" he said with an aggravated expression on his face. After I lifted my head that one time I didn't to raise it again. Dr Wells can be a great boss at times but sometimes he can be a right lunatic. He owns the company Star Labs and today is a really big day for him. He's been working on this project for years this is his dreams, and all the employees here at Star Labs don't want to let him down.

"Sorry Dr Wells, I know this is a big day but-"I was cut off by the very sweet but nerdy Caitlin.

"We know everything you will say, you say it about once a day we just all need to be ready for tonight just focus on that" Caitlin said giving me her best evil eye. It wasn't really evil.

"Calm down guys cut the girl some slack for once she has a valid reason for being late" Cisco said smirking at me. Thank the lord for Cisco.

Both Caitlin and Dr Wells walked off both with some pissed looks on their faces. I screwed up this time. As Caitlin's heels clipped away, I fist bumped Cisco. He really saves me from some lectures, if he wasn't here I probably would've quit along time ago. Don't get me wrong Dr Wells and Caitlin are great just they need to simmer down a little bit and have some fun.

"I'm guessing Samantha is here as both Wells and Cait look really annoyed" said Ronnie Raymond looking like he's about to explode with laughter."Oh if only my fiancé would take a chill pill"

"Oh Ronnie isn't the fact she never chills out what made you fall in love with her?" I started laughing and so did Cisco. We love making fun of Ronnie as he's one of the few people who can take a joke here. Everyone is just really really serious.

"Oh shut it you!" Ronnie said in his fake angry voice. He sprinted and messed up my perfectly straightened hair. I gave him the death glare that scared him straight. "Sorry sorry don't kill me officer"

"It's ok Ron but don't make that mistake again" I once again stared at him making him feel uncomfortable.

"Listen to the women Ronnie boy I would if I were you" we all laughed together. We were like the 3 musketeers, inseparable.

"GET TO WORK TROUBLESOME 3 THE PARTICLE ACCELERATOR GOES UP IN 5 HOURS" Dr Wells yelled clearly now extremely annoyed as we were doing nothing. He also calls us troublesome 3. I don't know why.........
We all quickly got back to work as this was gonna be one night to remember.

"Dr Wells we just got the latest weather report there's a big thunder storm rolling in" Cisco exclaimed in fear. We could not have anything go wrong, Star Labs name was on the line.
