POV: (Sloane)

"Looks like you've got a hot date with a Vampire 'maybe' tonight. Oh and a rather unpleasant phone call to Robert when you get home."

Cece sat there on her stool while folding our brochures as if my brother walking in hadn't made her panties drop. She seemed more collected than I felt at the moment. Robert and I went together as well as peanut butter and diesel oil.

"I'd rather drink Orc blood than talk to that ken doll. I'm almost positive that however he makes himself look young also made him completely smooth downstairs just like a barbie doll. He's got way too much rage in his system for someone who's getting some on a regular basis."

Cece raised an eyebrow at me before responding, "As if you have room to talk. When's the last time you even had sex?"

"There was that uh.. that one guy."

Sounds of paper being folded was the only response I got back and when I looked up to glance at her face she had an exasperated look gracing her tiny elfen features.

"Yeah? What one guy? You mean that guy about a year ago? I know that sex isn't everything and it's even possible to be happy without it but I know for a fact it's different for you Supernatural folk. Especially for you and your brother. It's almost like a malfunction in your wiring."

"Oh, thanks. So now I'm malfunctioning?"

"No offense. You just crave that connection you gain from body contact and sexual encounters. I've noticed it's a Shapeshifter and Mage thing. Since you are so closely tied with the Earth and it's elements you're magic craves the connection with other beings that are connected to it. It's sort of similar to you being an electrical cord, the person you have sex with is a power strip, and earth is the outlet that the power strip is hooked up to. It's the best way to describe what I'm trying to point out. Do you get it?"

Not really but I wasn't going to tell her that.

"Sure. Anyways," I began to switch subjects, "Do you think the Supe's will take our brochures seriously?"

"They will if they know what's good for them."

A snort escaped from me before I could stop it. Before I could reply my cellphone began to ring. Looking down, my screen was lit up with a wolf howling at the moon.

"Hey Cane."

"How's your morning going Slowster?"

"Eh, could be better. I woke up to a nudist colony moved into my bedroom."

"Uh, sounds like a party."

I explained to him about how fun my morning was so he could understand what had happened. It was difficult to make sure the rest of the Supernatural community was kept in the loop when it came to other people's problems. This would be classified a "Mage Problem" but with SPARC it was now everyone's problem.

"Gary and Bret will take part in your meeting. I trust Gary to take down viable information and assign a group of my inactive wolves to SPARC. Anything that can kill an entire Coven with that limited amount of time, can easily kill my people. We want this taken care of before it gets out of hand. Have you thought about how you'll be handling the human side of this?"

"What do you mean," I asked. It was unexpected to be asked about humans when we were dealing with a Supernatural problem, so I was confused.

"Slowster," he paused as if talking to a child, "You don't really believe that human police won't take notice to over fifty people going missing in one week, right? If it was a spread out occurence then sure but this is a group of people who probably have strong connected ties to one another, that just up and disappeared. Humans may be oblivious but they aren't stupid. This is going to cause a stir if you don't keep it under wraps. I'd suggest you ask the Vampires to go brain wash the local police."
