(Sloane's POV)

It hadn't been a part of my plans to visit an S&M club tonight but with all the shit going on, I wanted to be fully prepared in case of an emergency. Although I was full metaphorically, I was concerned I'd begin randomly hurting people in my search for 'food'.

Considering the fact that Cece was one of the people I was around almost 24/7 that thought was disconcerting.

My clothing choice was something I hadn't picked personally. Cece forced me into something I'd only worn once.. for Halloween .. back in High School. It was a one piece black latex slutty outfit. I'd tried to refuse her but she told me I needed to blend into the environment.

I felt naked.. and perverted. My breasts had grown since High School when I bought the outfit so I couldn't fully zip the front up. The lack of clothing had deterred me since it could possibly rain again but Cece forced thigh high latex boots and a long duster jacket on me to cover everything up.

I'd added a few silver chains to loop around my waist; in case of an emergency. Both thighs and wrists had serated knives shoved into sheaths. If it weren't for the fact that Cece had styled my hair with two dutch braids I'd have looked more Serial Killer/Flasher than 'Dominatrix'.

Somehow the braids made me look more approachable. Especially added with the more natural makeup she painted on my face. It was a seductive look yet not seductive at the same time.

Regardless, I pulled the duster closed with the belt. Hiding my indecency underneath it. I'd have blushed if I wasn't so thick skinned and shameless. I'll freely admit that in a morbid way I found myself fascinating.

Now this brings me back to the fact that I was standing in line waiting to get into an S&M club. Why was I waiting in line? Well because after having sex with Dimitri and then intruding in on the Compound while half dead.. it felt icky to try to use my connections to head straight in.

I glanced up at the sky to see the moon being slightly obstructed with clouds. Please don't let it rain. With my Supernatural blood I didn't get cold as easily as a Human but that didn't mean I wanted to get stuck in a storm.

As I was mulling this over a Wererat came over to stop in front of me. Obviously waiting for me to acknowledge his presence. At first I'd blankly stared at him.

It wasn't because he was ugly nor was he attractive. I was just surprised that a Wererat was on Top Surface and working for the Vampire Master. You've got to understand that the Wererats are habitually secluded to Bottom Side and usually only frequent the Black Market.

He had brown hair, brown eyes, and brown skin. Not to sound stereotypical but he also had beady eyes much like a rat.

"Yes?"

Figured I could start the convo since he was merely standing there staring at me. Was I supposed to know what he wanted? I cocked my head slightly to stare back at him.

"Master has already advised all of us to allow you entry when you arrive. You needn't stand in line."

Ah, so that's why he was staring at me. It was surprising that all of Dimitri's people seemed to know what I looked like without ever meeting them before. Either Dimitri was really good at painting an image, they've seen me around before, or he'd used some kind of magic to transplant my face into all of their heads.

That last thought was disturbing. Surely they weren't nudes.. right? [O.O]

"Thanks," I responded with a nod. It was useless arguing with this guy. I could tell he wouldn't leave me the hell alone unless I skipped the damn line and walked inside.
