Rei and Nobara finally make it to the Alice Hunters' Headquarters using the Alice Stone Bracelets Nobara put together.

"They have Mikan already so let's split up. We need to cover all of their headquarters and infiltrate through... Leave the hostages to me and you observe Mikan's situation okay?"

They use their invisibility stone to blend in. Nobara gives Rei a hug, "Be careful." he plants a kiss on her forehead and nods.

"I have too, for Haru. You too, okay?"

She nods and they head off in different directions.

"WHAT DID SHE DO?!! MY BRANDS!!!" Nobara leans down by a window and overhears a conversation. "What the freak did she do?!!"

Although she's scared to look(although she's invisible) she sneaks a glance through the window and sees Joshua rolling around clutching his smoke-covered arms. Mikan is tied to a fallen chair but motionless.

"Mikan-chan." Nobara softly touches the window and speaks into her earbuds, "I found her."

"Observe and interfere if her life's in danger." Kazumi orders. It takes all the patience in the world just to stay put.

"Roger." She mutters, an icy steam comes off of her in frustration. Suddenly it fades away and she notices right away. Confusion crosses her face. "What the?" She tries activating her ice powers but it doesn't work. She looks back inside and Joshua is still on the floor in anger. "My... Alice is gone...?"

Meanwhile Rei finds a window which leads to a basement. "Hostages in Range." Shiki's calm voice echoes through the earbuds.

"Roger." There are bars attached even as he manages to melt the glass with an Alice stone. "ugh... so I have to use it after all..." He takes off his glove and manages to rust the bars but its made of some unusual material-or so he thinks. "Maybe I'm the rusty one... hahaha..." he stops laughing as he overhears muffled voices, voice he once thought were unpleasant. As he hears them he feels relieved.

They're alive!!

He can't help feeling so happy in that moment for them, that tears come pouring out. He tries once again to rust the bars with his Alice but its difficult to use it so he decides to just melt it instead.

Why didn't I just melt it to begin with?

He mentally face-palms himself and instead places his focus on entering. He searches for ways to enter on his bracelet: Invisibility, Melting, Barrier, Teleportation, Flight, X-Ray Vision, Silence, and Doppelganger. None of which can help him enter the tiny little window touching the ground.

Forget this... I'm teleporting, he sighs and gets out his night-vision goggles since its as dark as dark can get.

He can feel himself fade away and reappear once again. There isn't much time to do a lot so he goes straight to melting the chains of the hostages quickly.

"W-who's there?" someone stutters in fear and makes him shudder. He sighs in annoyance at the recognition of the voice. A woman.

"Luna?" he wishes that she were someplace else but a hostage is a hostage, "It's me... Rei. Er... Persona..."

"Persona?" She coughs out a fluid onto his clothes which causes him to flinch in disgust. He reminds himself that she's been down here for months so he can't complain. "What's going on...? Why are you here...?" She stops again and goes on a coughing fit. Her chains have come off easily and she holds onto him for support. She probably hasn't stood up in ages. He starts to feel pity for her. "Thank you..." He softens at her sincerity. Rei didn't expect to see her here at all but as soon as he thinks it, he isn't a bit surprised. Luna has the mind-controlling Alice, who wouldn't want her Alice?
