We walked in silence for a bit, until Jeff got an idea. He pulled me through the woods quickly, not quite running, but faster than walking. "Jeff, what are you doing?" I asked, confused. "Just come on," he told me. I followed him until we got to a flat, grassy area with less trees than the rest of the forest. There was a large rock in the center and it overlooked a little bit of the city we were in. "Wow," I said, as I looked at the breathtaking view. "I come here sometimes just to think," he said. "It's beautiful," I responded, looking at some of the city light and hills. He helped me up onto the rock and sat down next to me. "Not as beautiful as you," he said in a mocking tone, sneering because he knew it was a cliche thing to say. I smiled and shook my head. He didn't let go of my hand as we looked at the view. "Would we have gotten close like this if you'd been allowed to kill me?" I finally asked. He seemed relieved that I broke the silence. "No," he responded. "Why not?" I asked. The answer wasn't surprising to me, but I was curious what the difference would have been. "I would've killed you as soon as you made me feel anything. And I felt like I might as well know who you are if I couldn't get rid of you," he said, staring at the city. "If Slender said you were allowed to kill me tomorrow, would you?" I asked, grabbing his arm. He looked into my eyes. "I honestly don't know if I could at this point," he said. I knew he didn't want to admit that to me. "Oh," I smiled a little and looked down. He shook his head and smiled very slightly. "I hate to say it, but I've gotten slightly attached to you," he whispered. "Really?" my eyes shot up and I got excited. He took a deep breath and nodded, confirming it. I smiled and hugged him. He hugged me back and kept me in his lap.
"You're the only thing that's ever made me happy," Jeff whispered eventually. "What about Jack?" I asked. "I have fun with him and he helps me out, but that's different," he explained. I smiled and looked up at him. "You've made me the happiest out of everything in my life," I told him. "I don't know, you like music quite a bit," he said, joking. I laughed and laid my head down on his shoulder. We sat there and watched the sunrise, since it was still early in the morning. "I don't think I've ever watched a sunrise," I told him. He laughed and looked down at me. I looked up, smiling, but my smile faded when I saw a serious look in his eyes. We stared at each other in silence before he kissed me, putting one hand on my cheek. I wasn't sure what that look was about, but I kissed him back. He pulled away and continued to stare at me. "What?" I asked. He shrugged innocently, acting like nothing happened. "What was that look?" I lightly slapped him. "It's just a look. I can look at my girlfriend, can't I?" he asked, avoiding answering. My stomach turned when he called me that and my cheeks turned bright red. "You're avoiding my question," I said. "I answered you," he replied. I dropped it, knowing he wasn't going to tell me whatever it was.
"I have a question for you," Jeff said. "Okay," I said, preparing for whatever it was. "Why are you wasting your time on me?" he asked. "What do you mean wasting my time?" I asked him with my eyebrows furrowed. "You'll get too scared of me at some point or realize you could be with someone normal and have a normal life," he said, sounding slightly scared of losing me. "Just take things one step at a time. I don't want normal anyways," I shook my head while I played with his hair. He sighed and looked at me then out at the city. "Can we go make pancakes?" I asked out of nowhere as I looked at him. He giggled a little but agreed, jumping off the rock with me close behind. He led me through the forest back to the mansion, covering my eyes when we got close. He told me where the pancake making items were and I started to make them. "Should I make some for everyone? Is anyone awake?" I asked while pointing at him with a measuring cup. He shrugged and I decided to make some for everyone. "What's your biggest fear?" he asked randomly as he sat on the island counter while I made the food. "Why are you asking so many questions lately? I thought you didn't take an interest in people," I asked suspiciously. "You're an exception I guess," he said, looking away. "My biggest fear is being betrayed and left alone," I said. As I was mixing the pancake batter I felt hands on my sides, making me scream. "Who hurt you?" he whispered as a joke, but it sent chills down my spine. I spun around in his arms. "Too many people to count," I replied and continued making my pancakes. He sat back on the counter as I finished all the pancakes. I grabbed some and started eating, and watched as Jeff helped himself to some. Other people began to trickle in and I offered them pancakes, which they happily accepted.
----At a later more reasonable hour of the day after some naps, such as 1pm----
I was sitting in Jeff's lap and I looked up at him. "What do you do on Halloween?" I asked curiously. "It's a lot of fun. I go as myself because people know who I am and I can openly grab people and scare them, play games with them, and eventually kill them. Best night ever," he explained with a slight grin. "I figured something like that," I responded. "I love Halloween," I added. "Good," he said with a chuckle. "Maybe someday you'll be able to come with me on Halloween," he said. "We'll see," I said hesitantly. Jeff was rubbing my back gently and I was playing with a string on his hoodie. I looked up into his eyes to already find him staring at me. I looked down and he move one of his hands from my back to my face. He gently pulled my head up to look at him and I bit my lip. For some reason I felt nervous to kiss him. He ran his thumb across my lips, making me shudder. He very slowly placed his lips on mine and I kissed him back. I slid my arms up to wrap around his neck. It was a very slow, deep kiss and I enjoyed it. I eventually pulled away and I bit his lower lip as I did. I saw him blush a little and I smiled. The look in his eyes seemed to have a lot of emotion in them and I tilted my head. He cleared his throat and gently got me off of him so he could get up. "I'm going to go out. I'll see you later," he said, looking down at me as he spoke. I nodded and stood up, heading upstairs. I went into Jeff's room and turned on the light, looking around again. I noticed the hole where he had almost stabbed me was now fixed. I shrugged and shut his door, going to see someone else. I was going to go to Masky's room but I didn't know if he and Hoodie were busy, so I went with Jack.
I opened his door and saw him watching Netflix. "Heyy, whatcha watching?" I asked. "Umm nothing," he said suspiciously. "Now you have to tell," I said with excitement. He sighed as he showed me his laptop screen, which said 'The Vampire Diaries'. "Ahh that's such a good show," I said while I laughed. He shut his laptop and moved it and gave me his attention. "What's up?" he asked as he took his mask off for me. "Nothing really. Jeff left and I just thought I'd come here," I replied. "How's that going," he asked as he crossed his hands in his lap (Therapist Jack strikes again ;D). "Pretty well, but he's starting to confuse me," I responded. "What do you mean?" he questioned. "He keeps looking at me in this... way and then he acts weird," I told him. "What way?" he asked. "I don't know how to explain it, but it's kind of filled with emotion," I explained. He stayed silent. "What?" I asked. "Nothing. Just. He. Nothing," he stumbled out. "WHAT?" I asked as I lightly hit his chest. "Y/N you know I'd tell you, but it's another thing that I can't tell you unless I want to die," he said as he laughed. "Fine," I crossed my arms. "How's everything else?" he asked, changing the subject. "I still don't know what I'm doing here but oh well. How about you?" I replied. "Things are pretty good," he said. "Do you have a special lady?" I asked while nudging him and wiggling my eyebrows. He chuckled and sighed. "Kind of, I guess," he told me. "SPILL," I screamed. He laughed and began to tell me about it. "There's a girl that I keep seeing and we both kind of like each other but nothing has happened," he explained. "Make something happen. Take your own advice," I told him. "I will," he laughed. I hugged him randomly, and he hugged me back even though he was confused. "What was that for?" he asked. "You're just a great friend," I smiled. "So are you," he replied. "Do you want to watch 'The Vampire Diaries' with me until Jeff comes back?" he asked. "Yes I do," I smiled. He opened the laptop back up and started the show as I got settled next to him.
HI GUYS I'M NOT DEAD. I'm SO sorry about my long absence. I got super busy with school and band and to be totally honest I forgot for a hot second that I had a story to be updating then I came back and had like a billion notifications so I'm sorry if I didn't respond to all of your comments like normal. I try to reply to all of you but that was so many so I'll hopefully be responding again after this. Hopefully this chapter was good, I kind of got stuck and didn't know what to write because I'm saving a few of my major plot points. Speaking of which, most of you want me to write smut, so I will, but I don't know where to put it. Anywho, we definitely still have a bit more of this story left, but I'm starting to think about how to end it because this is the 36th part including all my updates. BUT not to fear because I'll write an EJ x reader and I've already started my Jungkook x reader but I haven't published it. I've literally been writing this story for years, but it's okay. Anywho I've been rambling xD. Sorry about the title, they're hard to come up with
Photo cred coming soon ;D
