Chapter 23

Ryleigh's POV

I woke up to Max lightly shaking me. It was morning and we had school today but I still didn't want to get up.

"Ry, wake up." He said.

I just buried my face into his neck and wrapped my arms around him.

"Ryleigh you need to wake up." I heard aunt Lisa say. Ugh no.

I put one of my legs over top of Max's legs.

"What time is it?" I mumbled.

"Almost 7:00." Max said.

I groaned. No thank you.

"That's too early." I whined.

"I told you she wouldn't wake up." Max told aunt Lisa.

"How long have you been trying?" She asked him.

"Like twenty minutes."

I really don't like waking up early. But I decided to make everyone's lives easier and do it. I laid my head on Max's chest and opened my eyes.

"Finally." He said and aunt Lisa left. Well she was a ton of help.

I groaned again.

"You alright?" He laughed.

I nodded and then got up to get ready.

I went into the bathroom to change and brush my teeth.

When I came back out, Max was still laying there.

"Are you gonna get ready?" I asked and laid next to him.

"Are you?" He asked.

"I'm more ready than you are."

"You look like a lion." He said referring to my hair.

I stuffed my face in a pillow.

"Ryleigh." He laughed. "I'm kidding. You're beautiful."

I kept my face in the pillow because I knew I was blushing. A lot.

"Ryyyyyy."

I finally looked at him.

"That's better." He said.

"Just get dressed." I laughed.

"Okay." He kissed my cheek.

He got up and started changing. In my room. While I was still there.

"Max!" I yelled and turned around.

"What?"

"I'm still here!"

"So?" Ew. Boys are gross.

"Just tell me when you're dressed." I said.

A few seconds later he told me I could turn around.

"Why should I trust you?" I asked.

"Because you love me."

"For all I know you could be naked."

He sighed and I felt the bed dip.

"Ryleigh, I'm dressed I promise."

I slowly turned around and luckily he was dressed. Well he had pants on at least.

"Please don't do that again." I said.

"Oh come on. You enjoyed it." Um no.

"First of all, ew. Second of all, I wasn't even looking."
