Your P.o.v.

I decided that night that I wouldn't be staying at either of the Shelby residences, I needed a place of my own that I could just sit and be myself and have some calmness renter my life. I sat in front of Polly who had arranged for me to rent a place on the other side of Birmingham. "You should be safe there and we will be sure to visit you at least once or twice a week" she smiled taking my hands. "Thank you, I really appreciate what your doing for me Poll" I spoke softly.

She shook her head "Its nothing don't worry about it" I nodded. "The hard part will be telling Tommy and the boys. Especially Tommy though". I couldn't agree more its definitely going to be a challenge breaking the news to Tommy, he might not take it too well. I stood from my seat and gave Polly a hug before she ushered me out to the car. Brown leather suitcase were stacked up in the back seats of the car ready to be transported to my new home. I was finally going to have a place of my own.

Thomas's P.o.v.

Aunt poll had called a family meeting on the living room, everyone made sure they were in attendance not daring to make her angry after yesterday. "I have summoned you all here today to discuss some sad but positive news" I shifted in my seat unsure of how this meeting was going  to continue. "Poll what's going on?" John piped up feeling the same way as the rest of us, Concerned. "Why isn't Annabelle here?" Michael spoke up as well smoking a cigar. Something had definitely changed here. We waited for Poll to continue speaking as she played with the black scarf around her neck.

"Annabelle has moved out-" the boys began protesting "What do you mean she's moved out!?" "Who with!?" the questions continued in an uproar. I sat still in silences shocked at the decision she had made. I wasn't mad. I couldn't be, not at Annabelle. I was however deeply upset at the fact that she was no longer going to be with us as a family. Polly placed a finger over her lips and shushed everyone so that she could finish what she had to say. "She is living alone in the centre of Birmingham and we can visit twice a week max" she placed her hands on her hips.

Twice a week? I don't know if im going to make it through this meeting without a drink. My stomach dropped and my heart began to sink "She will still be working for the company so you lot don't have to worry about not seeing her". I stood from my seat causing everyones eyes to turn towards me "Is this because of Thomas?" Arthur asked quietly not wanting to point the blame at anyone. Polly sighed and just from that sigh alone I knew it was.

I walked over to the cabinet and pulled out a bottle of whiskey and took the cork out. I didn't bother with a glass I intended on downing all of it myself. "Thomas is there anything you want to say?" Polly asked with a pained look on her face. I shook my head "What can I say? Im sorry" I dragged myself out of the room and sat outside with a bottle in my hand and began drinking. Only one thought stayed in my mind and I could't get over it. "Annabelle im so sorry" I whispered to myself.

Id spent a good few hours out in the backyard drinking and beating myself up over everything that had happened within the last few days. I laid down across the grass staring at the sky watching the rolling clouds pass by. The door to the back of the house opened and closed but I kept my eyes fixed on the shapeshifting clouds. "Hey" that voice. I turned around and looked her up and down "What are you doing here?" I asked confused. "I wanted to make sure you were okay" she replied walking towards me.

She took a seat beside me and looked at the now multiple bottles scattered around me "Thomas I didn't do this to hurt you" Annabelle sighed and laid down beside me. She took my hand in hers and gazed over at me. I couldn't look at her just yet, it still stung to know that she wasn't going to be as close as she was before. "I know" I replied simply closing my eyes "But it's still my fault" I lifted myself from the grass and started walking away. "Thomas!" she called out irritated, I watched as she stood from the grass and marched towards me.

"what do you want from me?" I turned back around and faced her. Annabelle unexpectedly grabbed my face with her two hands and brought me down to her height and looked me in the eyes before smashing her lips upon mine. I naturally wrapped my arms around her waist and leaned up against the brick wall. I wanted this to last forever. Slowly pulling back for air she looked at me once more "I want you to know this isn't the end" I nodded beginning to leave a trail of kisses up her neck. "Thomas not here" she whispered in my ear.

"Come upstairs with me then" I suggested pulling her towards the door "Not now Thomas, I have to get going and your drunk". She had a point but this was the most intimacy we had had in a number of weeks. "Pick me up at 8" she placed one more kiss on my lips before pulling away and walking back into the house alone. I slumped up against the wall and look at the ground "Damn it" I mumbled to myself. "Wait whats at 8?" I spoke my thoughts aloud with a puzzled look on my face. I quickly followed inside the house in search on answers.
