Shivay's pov

I don't deserve you Anika. I don't deserve you. I am a beast. I am an useless oberoi heir who is bounded by many promises. I am surrounded by fakeness. I am helpless. I am struck in this guilt forever. No one can save me from this.

When I said I can't go against my family I swear I saw your shattered heart through your eyes. It killed me to see you like this. I want to help you Anika. I want to overcome my guilt.

But I am bounded by a promise. I promised to protect this family and I'm doing it. I am afraid Anika. What if I lose you forever? You came like a breeze in my life. When you told me in chawl how you suffered in your childhood I felt like killing myself.

I am also responsible for your situation. I failed to protect you. You are still with me. You married me because you want justice for your parents death. But I know it's not true. You love me from the bottom of your heart and I knew it very well. Your eyes never betray me.

I can understand your pain Anika. How much you have suffered in your life? In fact I hate myself. I insulted you many times just because you didn't have naam, khoon and khandhan. I behaved like a jerk. I played with your emotions.

I failed to trust you. I failed to protect you. I was a good son, good brother, good grandson. But I was never a good husband. I failed as a husband. I am responsible for all your miseries. I love you Anika. Please never leave me. I will definitely die without you.

I want to be your soulmate. I want to be your everything but I know it's not possible unless I give up my family. Shivay Singh oberoi is nothing without his family but shivay is nothing without Anika. I am struck between love and family. I am sorry Anika. If possible forgive me.

He punched the punching bag hardly. He was continuously punching it. As a result blood oozed out from his hand. His hand was paining. But he didn't care about it according to him this pain was nothing compared to the pain that felt by Anika. This is the way he punish himself when he feels too guilty. He kept on punching the bag.

" Stop it shivay", came a voice.

" I won't Arjun", shivay replied.

" Will you kill yourself then", Arjun asked him angrily.

" I don't mind in doing it", shivay said.

" Are you mad shivay? Till how many years you will consider yourself responsible for that disaster. You want to die right but before doing it at least for once think about your family", Arjun tried to convince him.

" Haha family. They are responsible for my condition", shivay laughed.

" It's not your mistake. Don't worry we will find her and everything will be fine", Arjun said.

" You think I didn't try to find her. It's been bloody 16 years. While I was enjoying my luxuries here she suffered in orphanage. When I studied in college she worked to earn for one day meal. When I used my surname with pride she was insulted by people for not having a surname. She suffered because of me. Whatever I do nothing is going to be fine", shivay punched the bag again in frustration.

" Why don't you just forget her? After all she never meant anything to you", Arjun said angrily.

" She is the world to me. Don't you dare say anything about her", shivay was about to punch Arjun but he vanished in air.
