Part 24

Shivay came back from his meeting. Investors were happy with his presentation and decided to sign the deal. He wanted to share this good news with Annika. But he couldn't find her anywhere. He called her many times but she didn't answer any of his calls. He enquired other family members abut her but none of them had any idea.

He immediately called khanna. He too told Annika didn't leave the house from morning. A panic rose inside his system. The fear of losing her made him lose his senses. He suddenly felt a  sharp pain in his head. He felt some kind of pain in his hand too. He saw an injection injected in his hand.

He held his head and collapsed on floor. Before he could close his eyes the last figure he saw was someone's smirking face.

Shivay slowly opened his eyes.

Shivay's pov

Ahhh why my head is paining a lot. Why I can't remember anything? Where am i? who was the person smirked at me?

His mind was filled with lot of questions but most importantly he want to know where is Annika? He tried to get up but couldn't. He heard a voice all of a sudden.

" Shivay singh oberoi what's the hurry?", said the voice.

" suraj uncle", Shivay's own voice betrayed him.

" beta I'm not your uncle I'm your chote papa Shivay", suraj said.

" what are you saying? Where is Annika? Where am i? why I can't get up?, Shivay bombarded many questions.

" Shivay come on man don't you think you are supposed to remain quiet because you are kidnapped" Suraj mocked at him.

" Kidnapped", shivay raised his eyebrows in confusion.

" Don't worry I will not beat you like other kidnappers do. You are my half brother's son. How can I treat you like hostage?", Suraj smirked at him.

" Half brother's son. What are you saying Uncle? You are mehra but I'm an oberoi. How come this is possible?", Shivay questioned him.

" Many things can wait but few things can never. Before I clear all your doubts I want to show you something", Suraj said.

" But", shivay stopped in middle because of the sight before him.

" Anika", he screamed out from his lungs.

He saw Anika before him. She was tied to a chair. Her forehead covered with blood. Eyelids closed. Her hands and shoulders with nail and blood marks. She was unconscious.

Shivay tried to get up but he failed miserably.

" What you did to my Anika? Why she is unconscious? I will not spare you. I will kill you for doing this to her", shivay threatened him.

" Wow I must say you both are made for each other. Even she said the same thing to me. She said you will kill me if I hurt her because you can't see tears in her eyes. What a love story. I think both of your name should be joined in romantic saga like Romeo-juliet, Laila-majnu etc.. etc... But sad thing is they die at the end of the story", Suraj teased him.
