-Chapter Two Hundred and Twenty-Three-

"You said you people aren't real shipwrights, so does that mean you lied about the Merry too?" Zoro asked.

"Unfortunately, no—I was quite honest about my assessment" Kaku admitted as Zoro started to push him back.

"I'm sorry to hear that" Zoro said as he and the long-nosed man started to fight—I looked from them to Luffy, who had finally pushed himself up off the ground, and then to Robin who was now standing on the windowsill to the open window.

"Don't go, Robin!" Luffy begged. "We're not done talking yet!" he frowned.

"No, it's over, this is the last time you'll see me" Robin said, refusing to look back at him or any of us really.

"Robin!" Nami cried.

"Please!" I pleaded as Zoro shattered Kaku's swords.

"Luffy, go after Robin! Whatever happens—don't let her get away!" Zoro ordered as the rubber man started to scream and rush right towards the raven-haired woman.

"Confident, huh?" Kaku questioned. "You really shouldn't take your eyes off me!" he jabbed his finger three times into Zoro's torso without a second thought.

"Zoro!" Chopper worriedly cried.

"You bastard!" I sneered.

"Finger Pistol" Kaku grinned as I clenched my jaw, soon his head perked up when I growled and drew one of my swords as I now rushed right towards him. Body coming to a jolting halt as I was suddenly yanked back by Chopper who had grabbed the back of my shirt and jacket with his teeth.

"Chopper, let go!" I cried out as I looked back at the reindeer, quick to take note of the tears welling up in his eyes as he continued to tug me back with every attempt I made to struggle forward.

"No, you'll end up getting hurt and we both know that Zoro wouldn't want that!" Chopper cried through clenched teeth.

"There, turns out that there are some things deadlier than bullets" Kaku said as I wailed in frustration, growing infuriated with how cocky and proud the man sounded with himself.

"What's your problem?!" Luffy sneered as Lucci had a hold of his face and kept him from advancing any closer towards Robin. Soon the rubber man started to wildly punch at the man repeatedly.

"All those punches and he's not even blinking!" Nami gaped as my sword clattered to the floor and Chopper's jaw fell open, releasing my clothing.

"Everything's a mess..." I weakly muttered as I looked around the room—as I looked at all the damage that had been caused because of these people.

"I have him, now go" Lucci told Robin as she finally jumped out the window and disappeared from sight.

"Robin!" Nami, Chopper, and I cried, tears now streaming down my cheeks as I looked from Zoro, who was struggling to move, and then to Luffy who was carelessly tossed aside by the agent.

"Luffy!" Nami whimpered.

"Zoro!" I cried as the moss haired man shakily stood up.

"I don't believe it! H-how can he be so strong?" Nami shakily asked.

"I knew you were tough, but this is too much" Paulie groaned.

"We're not like you, as members of CP9 and for as long as we can remember, we've been trained to surpass the limits of the human body and vowed to hone the skills to an instrument of absolute justice" Lucci said which caused something to snap inside of me. "The results of that training of the superhuman technique is the Six Powers."
