Chapter 21

I'm sorry about the time gaps, but this one is going to be a month after Taliahs death and this is when Kylie and Daniel start to become happier again, I'm only doing these time gaps because otherwise I would cry making the other ones.

Kylie's P.O.V

I wake up to the sound of someone shuffling around in the kitchen downstairs, I look to the left of me to see the bed empty. I groan and hop out of bed, getting dressed in a yellow sweater and long black pants.

I put on a Barrett and some white platforms and to finish it all off I straighten my hair and put on light makeup. I smile and head downstairs to find Jonah, he stayed over last night.

When he sees me, he nearly drops the glass of water he's holding, I smirk and walk over to him. He smiles and places the glass down, he hugs me tightly and decides to go have a shower.

I laugh as he walks away acting like he's a model and doing a very sassy walk up my stairs. Once he's finally dressed and ready we decide to take a few photos showing off our outfits.

I can't help but smile at Corbyns comments as I hop in the car next to Jonah, he's been really sweet lately. I turn my phone off and decide to have a relaxing fun day with Jonah, no stress of worries in the world.

We drive down to a small park and grab some ice cream, when we sit down I take a look at our surroundings. It's actually really beautiful here, I breathe in the autumn air around me and turn to Jonah.

He looks very nervous, I wonder why, that's when the rest of the Why Don't We boys jump out of nowhere. Daniels holding his guitar and begins strumming it and playing the cords.

I recognize the song as Words I didn't say, and I'm blow away when Zach starts to sing, then the others join in as well. Jonah stands and takes my hand as they begin and he starts dancing with me.

It's the kind of slow dance in the movies that take your breath away and make you swoon for the boy your dancing with.

I smile when they finish I'm nearly in tears, and Jonah and I are just swaying, when he pulls back "Kylie, I'm sorry I never told you this before all the drama, but I love you" he says.

That's when the tears really do come, for the first time since Taliah died, I feel hope "I was so stupid for choosing Ruby, and I'm glad the police are looking for her, but all I can think about is how much she hurt you" he says.

Before he says anymore I lean into him and kiss him, he's surprised for a second before he kisses me back. It's not like the others we've had, it's more passionate, he places his hand on my cheek and I place mine on his neck.

When we finally pull back he looks into my eyes and I feel everything in my heart melt "Kylie Jay Vaughn, will you give me the honor of having you as my girlfriend?" He asks out of breath.

I grin, for the first time in ages, I grin, a full blown smile, not fake or anything "Jonah, you've been one of the only people that can make me smile, of course I will be your girlfriend" I say.

The boys cheer and I can't help but grin myself, I hope this will last forever, even if it doesn't I will cherish these moments.
