I stood in the line of Slytherin first years. Facing my friends. Who stood in the opposing line  from my line along with the rest off Gryffindor. Some how Gryffindor and Slytherin got paired up for flying lessons. Which was a great idea. Not a bad one at all. I however didn't mind since it meant I was with my good friends. Now each student in the lines stood with a broom by their feet. School brooms unfortunately since first years weren't allowed brooms. Soon a woman with white, short, spikey hair walks up towards us. "Good afternoon, class," She says.

"Good afternoon Madame Hooch," We echo.

"Good afternoon Amanda, good afternoon," She says walking in between the lines of students, "Welcome to your first flying lesson. Well what are you waiting for? Everyone step up to the left side of their broomstick. Come on now, hurry up. Stick your right hand over the broom and say up." People all around started calling for their brooms. I place my hand over mine.

"Up," I call. On the first try it flies up. Full discloser I've been flying all my life. My dad taught me when I was barely able to walk. He always wanted me to play qudditch like Mikey. Then Harry's and Malfoy's fly up. Less than seconds apart from each other.

"With feeling!" Professor Hooch says. People keep calling up. Ron angrily calls up and his broom smacks his face. Harry and I chuckle at our friend.

"Ow! Shut up Harry," Ron yells holding his nose. Eventually everyone gets their brooms up and she moves on.

"Now once you've got hold of your broom, I want you to mount it. Grip it tight. You don't wanna be sliding off the end," She says. We all mount them, "When I blow my whistle, I want each of you to kick off from the ground, hard. Keep your broom steady, hover for a moment, then lean forward slightly and touch back down. On my whistle. Three, two..." By now Neville had alreay started hovering. A couple feet in the air and he looked panicked.  "Mr. Longbottom. Mr. Mr. Mr. Longbottom!" He starts to fly off and we all call for him to get down.

"Help! Help!" He calls up. His broom wildly wipes around.

"Come back down this instant!" Madame Hooch yells. He wipes around and smacks every surface. "Mr. Longbottom!" She yells as his robe gets caught on a sharp pole. Pulling him off the broom. Upside, he was off the broom. Downside, he was dangling off a high ledge of the school. His robe tears and he falls only to get caught again. This time he wasn't so lucky and it only took the robe not him, causing him to smack against the hard ground. "Everyone out of the way!" Madam Hooch pushes through us until she reaches the young boy. She takes his hand feeling his bones.

"Ow ow," He whines.

"Is he alright?" Hermione asks.

"Oh dear, it's a broken wrist. Poor boy. Come on now, up you get," Hooch says helping him up, "Everyone is to keep their feet firmly on the ground while I take Mr. Longbottom to the hospital wing. Understand? If I see a single broom in the air the one riding it will find themselves out of Hogwarts before they can say 'Quidditch'"

"Poor Neville," I say as the two walk off. Draco on the other hand held a smirk on his face.

"Did you see his face?" He sneers, "If the fat lump had given this a squeeze he would remember to fall on his fat arse." It was a rememberall. I didn't realize Neville dropped it.

"Give it here Malfoy," Harry demands.

"No, I think I'll leave it somewhere for Longbottom to find," Draco says and mounts his broom. He flys up and around gracefully. "How about on the roof? What's the matter Potter? Bit beyond you reach?" Harry mounts his broom.

"Harry! No way! You heard what Madame Hooch said," Hermione.

"Besides. Do you even know how to fly?"I ask. He shakes his head no and flies off.
