Author's POV

"Are you sure?!" The leader shouts, drawing all the attention of the rest of the members.

The younger male jumps when the leader raised his voice. He knew his gang wouldn't like the news, especially their leader, RM. Chimchim couldn't help it; he needed to let them know what he and J-Hope discovered.

"How long? When did it happen?" Another voice joins the conversation. Jimin turns to see it's V who asked the question in a calming matter. 

All seven of the gang, Bangtan, the rulers of Seoul,  sat in a circle of couches in the living room. The television is on but left unnoticed after Chimchim mentioned his urgent talk with the group.

It has been a good while since they all gather to talk about their gang activity. It has been quite peaceful in Seoul for the last four months. That is until Bangtan heard an interesting rumor and Chimchim and J-Hope were sent to investigate it. Both of the members thought the rumors were false since Bangtan didn't expect for anything to happen. 

"The night before freshman orientation. They took out the Knights, two blocks away from the university campus." Chimchim spills out.

The air in the room becomes heavy. Three days ago. Classes didn't even start and they already took action. Phantoms, the untouched nemesis of Bangtan.  Bangtan has heard of them from others but both gangs have never crossed paths. It was sue to both gangs being located in different cities but not anymore.

"Then why are we just finding out now?!" Suga sounds annoyed but who can blame him. They just found out they're rivals are in Seoul.

J-Hope jumps in.

"We had to confirm. We heard rumors but weren't sure until we talked to some witnesses. Phantoms are here but not all of them."

"What do you mean not all of them?" The youngest member is known as Kookie asked.

"According to the Knights, it was a unit. A total of six of them took all sixteen down. They said it was likely four males and two females."

RM shakes his head. As a leader, RM has in the past and in the present refused to involve any females in his gang. In his opinion, this life is too violent for girls and he has experienced the trauma it can do to them. They are Bangtan but they are family and friends first. 

"Wait, did any of them see their appearance?"

Suga along with the rest of the members are eager to know more about the mysterious gang. No one knows anything about them. They appear, fight and take out other gangs, and disappear. Their identities have always been a secret since the Phantoms were first spotted three years ago. 

Here is the interesting part for J-Hope.

"Mmm. All six were wearing all black and face masks, you know their typical gear. However, while they were walking away, one of them accidentally revealed a hint.  He mentioned something about being in college."

"Are you saying...."

"Yes, I think they're here because they graduated. They're college students. Which explains why there's only six and not the full team. They are studying in Seoul."
