Author's POV

Everyone tried to stay calm but it was difficult after witnessing Hana's breakdown. No one, not even her best friend, Eunji, or her boyfriend, Jin saw it coming.

In reality no one had the slightest idea what Hana was holding back on.

The crying continued for a little while longer until Hana somehow ended up passing out. Eunji believes it was the result of everything.

The stress she was going through both mentally and physically along with not being fully received for her injury. Hana fell asleep in the arms of her brother who decided to carry her back to Jin's room.

After that shitty storm, even Taehyung and Jin had tears sitting in their eyes.
Everyone else tries to comfort one another, knowing the worse has passed and it is now a time of healing.

Taehyung turns to Eunji, "You're a medical student so did you have any clue of this?"

She looks over at all six males waiting for her answer.

"I had my speculations but no. Hana never shares her emotions with me or anyone. I knew she wasn't well since we first met. Maybe that's why I wanted to stay by her side, to free her from her pain. Once we became close, she told me about her depression but she was able to handle it. Or so I thought..."

"But did Hana really mean all that? That her life fell apart because Namjoon didn't stay by her?" Jimin is having trouble understanding all this.

"You see the mind and the heart are a very delicate thing. Hana had all the love and affection from her siblings and a bond with them. To suddenly have that taken away, she became unstable due to her lack of attachment. She is a twin and her and Namjoon were never separated until then. Namjoon probably did better because he focused on his studies and had Tae with him. However, I also assume it was difficult for him too, right Taehyung?"

Tae nods.

Only him and Yoongi were aware of the internal struggles Namjoon had as well. And one of them was choosing to stay away from his twin sister.

Not hearing any words from her boyfriend, Eunji decides to continue her explanation.

"It is complicated to grasp the idea of it but not impossible. The brain does not fully develop until your mid-twenties, therefore, anything that can happen before us, especially traumatic situations can change the way the brain works. What Hana experienced made her guarded to others making her harder for her to trust people. After all, the greatest damage done to a person is not by strangers but by the people closest to us."

Hana became a victim of her own affection.

Hana's POV

It was too much.

Too much for both my mind and body to handle.

I could no longer hold it in.
