Meathead Monologue

"do something about it"

i have a nasty fight to pick
with life.
i am unhappy with the cards i
have been dealt
and i have got it in my head that i
can do something about it.
even though i can't.
i figure i will let myself suffer a little,
let myself try to make things happen.
i have got to learn that that's not how
life works.
life doesn't care how small i am.
life will not pick on someone it's own size.
but the again,
neither will i.
so if you see life around,
tell him i would like a word.
