Life saver(5)-Sherlock x reader

''Okay, have you ever done any kind of martial art?'' he asked, looking at you.

''Yes, I did'' you answered, placing your hands on your hips.

''Alright, try to defend yourself'' he said and launched an unannounced punch towards your face.

You caught his hand and twisted it, pinning it behind his back, holding him tight.

''How was that?'' you whispered in his ear

''Perfect'' he smirked, despite the pain he was feeling in his arm.

You let go of his hand and he turned around, taking your arm and pinning it behind your back, copying your move.

His front was pressed against your back, and you felt giddy with every movement of his hands on your skin.

''Lesson number one. Don't get your eyes off your target'' he whispered in your ear, sending shivers along your spine.

''Let me go''

''Make me''

You elbowed him with your free hand in his stomach, then you threw your head back, hitting his nose, then kicked him in his legs, making him fall on the ground.

''Did that work for you?''you smiled sweetly.

''Yep'' he nodded, lifting himself off the ground,''Seems to me that you don't need self defense lessons'' he finished.

''No, I don't'' 

He chuckled, and your eyes landed on the scar that was on the side of his torso.

''Hey, look, it got better'' you said, and gently touched the scar

''That's because you saved me'' he said, placing his hand on top of yours.

You furrowed your eyebrows and looked up at him, meeting his mesmerizing chocolate eyes.

He gripped your hand in his and held it gently, never breaking eye contact.

''Yeah... you can say I'm a life saver'' you laughed awkwardly, feeling your cheeks covering in a deep shade of red.

''You know... I usually don't compliments to women, but you are the only one who deserves all of them'' he said, making you look deeper in his eyes, and your laughter died down.

For a few moments, the time seemed to stretch and slow down as the two of you stared into each other's orbs. Everything around you except him became a blur, and it felt like the two of you were alone in the universe.

Your faces were inches apart, and you were sure that the two of you were attracted by a magnetic force.

''Hey, Y/N!'' you heard your neighbor's voice calling you, and you looked away from Sherlock, towards the fence that was separating your and Lilith's houses.

''Hi Lilith! How are you?'' you asked as you took a few steps back.

''Oh, I'm just fine. What were you two doing?'' she asked, curiously 

''I was just looking at his scar, to see if it got better'' you quickly covered up.

''Oh, well. Alright'' she chuckled and walked away.

You looked back at Sherlock, who was taking his shirt on. Turning around, you walked back inside the house.

It was late at night, around 1 am, and you were in the garden, by the lake.

It was very warm outside, and you were dressed in a lacy white dress that was reaching a little over your knees.
