I'm back! Here's chapter 31. Don't hate me after this chapter. It's also pretty short.
Leon's POV
I was finally discharged a few weeks later.
Oddly, I hadn't seen Violetta since the first day I got here.
As I was thinking, the nurse came into my room.
"Mr. Vargas, you're needed in room 1642, second floor, A wing," she says after she said hello.
I did as told and saw my precious wife laying on the hospital bed. She was hooked up to an IV and she had a heart rate monitor hooked up as well.
I sat next to her and caressed her cold cheek. I felt a tear escape my eye as I continue to look at her.
Her eyes were closed peacefully and I could see her chest slightly rising and falling.
Half an hour later, I see her heart rate flatline.
A lot of doctors and nurses rush into the room and they all have a panicked look on their faces.
"Mr. Vargas, she died. I'm sorry," one of the doctors says sympathetically.
My head drops and I walk out of the room feeling tears starting to form in my eyes.
Well, there we go. You Belong to Me is finished.
The sequel will be out soon.
