Joel brought Lizzie inside. His arms were wrapped tight around hers.
J= What are you doing here at 5 in the morning!?
Lizzie starts telling Joel the whole story, at the end of it, he was fuming.
J= How could he do that? I'm going to find h-
L= Joel stop! I'm- you are not going there!
J= Lizzie, he can't do that to you and get away with it!
L= He can, he's in care.
J= I swear I'm going to kill him.
L= (cries)
J= Lizzie I'm sorry.
L= For what?
J= Jemma
L= It's okay. It wasn't even your fault.
J= I shouldn't have let her control me.
L= I should have been more forgiving so I'm sorry too.
J= Buddy misses you.
L= (sniggers)
J= (laughs)
L= Yea yea I'm sure he does. All he wants is food these days.
J= Yup.
J= Are we still, like girlfriend and-
L= Yes. If you want to be.
J= Definitely!!
L= Okay.
Lizzie lays her head on Joel's shoulder as they rest on the couch. They finally have peace in their lives, and Joel starts thinking about Lizzie's birthday which is in a couple of days..
