Chapter 37

Previously:

She saw that this detail changed something In Zackys eyes so she quickly added something to not get him into a weird status again.

-What about them?
She bit her underlip as she added a cute "Zach" to make him feel comfortable.

But he didn't seem to care anymore. He looked like he just wanted to get rid of it now.

With a bitter voice and shaking legs he continued:
-That was me.

And Scary G-
He cleared his throat
Me and My Cousin.

Chapter 37:

Sarah just stared at him her mouth wide opened. So, she had misunderstood everything.
Ugh of course she did.
She slapped her forehead wondering how she could even get suspicious.
Zacky was strong, cute and definitely not dangerous.

 She felt a hurting guilt as she looked at him bitting her underlip. She didn't know why, but starting from the first moment she saw him, she felt herself closer to him than the others and the fact that he might be all fake did really make her worried and sad, but now she felt a big relief in her heart. She gave him a soft and weak smile. Next, she did something she needed and something her heart was pushing her to. She threw her arms around his neck.

Zacky looked down at her in shock not being able to do anything.
After 6 years he felt her again...
He felt her heartbeat...
Tears started running down his cheeks. He hugged her, pulling her closer and she rested her head on his shoulder.
-I wanted to prepare you before he comes...
He whispered

Sarah pushed back slowly to look at his face.
-But I guess the training will fail...
He said as he looked deep into her eyes.

He was actually happy because Sarah was making things easier for him.
Her brain might not remember, but her heart sure did...

He tried his best to not let his thoughts reflect on his face because they were deeply focused on each other right now, she'd notice...

-So are you...
Her voice was quiet teasing.
Being pushed again?
She grinned.

Zacky responded with a smooth smile.
-To what missy?

-Making meee...
Use my powers?
She looked at him keeping that teasing smile and voice.

Zacky suddenly looked at his front and then quickly back at Sarah.
-I've actually never thought of that.
He said with a thoughtful voice, playing with his cheeks.

Then he smiled again.
-I...
was actually planning something else.
He smiled happy with himself.

That reaction made her kinda nervous.
-Tell mehhh

Zacky was now grinning.
-I was planning on making someone guard you.

Not "someone" actually...The best.
His grin was now bigger.

Sarah broke eye contact trying to hide that she was blushing.
-D...Doesn't
Her voice was shaking and Zacky tried to hide his giggle.

Doesn't..he...he...
have missions?

Zacky bit his underlip letting his laughter out.

He suddenly acted shocked.
-Who?

Sarah looked at him with wide opened eyes.
- You...
I.....
Err...
Ehmm...
ZACKY!

- You trapped me!!!
She screamed mixed with a laughter.

-Shouldn't have thought of him.

He winked at her.
That moment he already felt a hard kick.
And they both broke out in laughter.

The first ones to return were Lacey and Matt.

They arrived as Zacky was looking through some papers- he looked deeply focused- and Sarah was just laying on the couch watching TV. 

Zacky looked up quiet shocked when the door knocked, Sarah didn't bother moving because she was seconds away from falling asleep. 

He smiled as he passed her to get the door.

Lacey and Matt ran in the moment the door opened and they immediately threw themselves on a couch.

Zacky left the door open as he could hear the footsteps of the other duo- Val and Brian-

He went to one of the closets to get a blanket for Sarah.

-I was expecting Missy to be training. 

Matt spoke up and the others eye-rolled at him.

Zacky didn't even bother looking up. He gently put the blanket over Sarah. 

This time Val decided to speak up

-Zach, what happened to her hands? 

She sounded quite worried, but also curious. 

Now the others also noticed the bandages. 

Zacky followed their looks and he looked at her hands feeling really uncomfortable about the situation.

-A little accident. 

This was all he could say. He spoke with a bored tone to show them he didn't want to talk about it.

Suddenly Brian stood up and he walked to the door with running steps. 

Zacky looked at the others with a questioning face.

The one to respond was Lacey.

She showed the window and made a knocking move.

He bit his underlip with anger when he understood what she meant.

Hakeem was here. 

All covered with blood. 

And he wanted to make sure Sarah wouldn't see him.

Brian opened the door and he was about to tell Hakeem to come in when Zacky told him to stop under his breath. 

Brian just looked at him confusedly, but the look on Zackys face was telling him to stop and wait clearly.

Zacky rushed up the stairs to his floor taking hard breaths. The others held their breaths watching Zacky nervously. This was the angriest they had seen him in a while.

Even when he was gone, they didn't dare even whispering.

Zacky came back walking slowly, his face cruel...

It took them some seconds to see what he was holding in his hand...

Val jumped up in shock.

-Boss!

What are you doing!?

Come on, calm down!

Please!!

But Zackys cruel face didn't move a tiny bit. 

He just kept walking.

Val looked at the others looking for help.

-Valary he won't hear any of us right now and it...it has to be done...

Matt whispered showing her to sit down not taking his eyes off Zacky.

Valary looked at the others.

They weren't looking happy about this, but they just nodded. 

Val let out a cursing sound as she changed the spot of her head back to Zacky.

His face was the same...Merciless...

He pushed Brian out of the way and he left the house to Hakeem's side.

He shut the door so hard that the house shaked...

And there was nothing left to do...
