FT. Suho

-.-.-.-.-

Your were astonished with what you saw. A young lady stood there, you're reflection on the mirror. A beautiful white gown flowed down your slim body, a veil covered your pretty face, and there you held a wonderfully made boquet of white and yellow roses, your unchanging favourite. As you stared at your reflection, you momentarily remembered an almost childhood memory. Quickly grabbing a $20 bill from your purse that layed on the dresser, you reminisced and smiled at your sudden remembrance.

*8 years ago, 11th grade*

"Just go to the clinic! Dude, you're burning up! Seriously." your best friend, Gen said with concern.

"I told you, this is nothing. My enzymes are fine, okay?" you replied with a faint smile, trying to hide your dizziness from your friend.

"Please, don't lie to me. Now go to the infirmary before it's too late." She retorded and sat down. As the bell continued to ring, your seatmate came in. He was perfect, well to you he was. Tall frame, shiny eyes framed by double eyelids, white milky skin, and had the most perfect smile that matched his personality. You couldn't believe such a guy existed in your life. As your headache got worse, you pressed your head down your table and closed your eyes, thinking it would ease the throbbing headache you were having.

"Psst. _______, you okay?" Suho asked, intrigued with your current state. His question made you blush even more, causing your face to burn up.

"N- no! It's fine, i'm perfectly okay!" you replied, stuttering as you held your face up. You mentally slapped your face, for waffling and jumbling up your words.

"Hmm, I don't think so. You're too pale to be fine. Come on, let's go!" Suho said, grabbing your hand and leading you out of the classroom. "Kris, tell Ms. Smith were going to the infirmary." Suho continued and dragged you out of the room.You continued walking along the hallway, still dazed but finally spoke up.

"Suho, seriously I'm o--" you tried only to be interrupted by Suho placing his hand on your forehead.

"You're burning up, ______. How is that fine?" He uttered with worry evident in his voice.

"This is nothing, okay? Now can we go back, please?" you begged, only to be ignored by Suho. He led you towards the clinic, told you to lay down and he got a thermometer from the utilities.

"Why is the nurse not here. So useful." He said with sarcasm. You smiled to his statement and sat up to look at Suho. He was trying to figure out how to work the electric thermometer, and got some fever patches for you to use.

"Hey, ______." Suho called.

"Yeah?"

"In the future... I'm betting for $20 that I'm going to marry you." He said so quietly, but can still be heard.

"What? Can you speak up, please?" you pretended, trying to make it seem you didn't hear what he said.

"Nothing. Don't worry. That was a joke." he continued, his smile brightening up his face

That statement caused your heart to thump like crazy. You wished it was going to come true, and you couldn't help but blush to what he said. You layed back down, feeling your headache getting worse. Suho then approached the bed, holding out a patch to place on your forehead.

"_______." he called.

"Hmm.." you replied in all weakness.

"Here, put this on your armpit. Haha. Let me put the patch on for you."

You did as he told and he placed the patch on your forehead. His hand felt nice and cold that you couldn't help but tug onto his hand and place it on your cheek. Your gesture surprised him and he looked at you wide-eyed, but he realised that it was for your comfort.

"Suho.. Thanks for this." you said with gratitude.

"No biggie. Hey.. Can I see the thermometer now?" he asked and you gave it to him.

"Hmm... 39?! OMG ______. You're fever's too high! I need to call th---" Suho said whilst rushing out, only to be stopped by you.

"No, don't leave me alone.. Stay.." you asked, and he looked at you with worry. Suddenly, Suho came up to you and sat down on the side of the bed.

"No. I won't leave you, ______. Never." he said, gripping your hand tightly.

"Hey, _______. I wanted to tell you something..." he said, and you looked at him intently.

~~~~~~
"________! It's almost time! Come on! We need to go!" Gen yelled through the wooden door, snapping you out of your day dream.
"Okay, I'm coming." you said, taking light footsteps out of the dressing room. You walked through the hallway with your best friend, with her congratulating you on your wedding and complimenting how beautiful you looked. You stood at the door of the church with your Father and Mother and everybody present in the church stood up, eyeing your gorgeous dress and smiling with happiness. You tugged on your boquet and the $20 bill, and walked down the aisle, towards your husband to be. He looked at you in awe, as if he had never seen someone like you before and you smiled at him as you approached nearer. You Father then patted your fiance's shoulder, and you hugged your Mother so tightly, feeling a small gasp escape her lips.
"Congratulations, Darling.. I love you." your Father and Mother said in unison.
You smiled through the veil and walked towards the altar with your fiance. You looked at him and grabbed his hand, placing the $20 bill on his palm. He looked at you with confusion, not having a single clue as to why you gave him money.
"What's this, jagi?" he asked, confusion filling him up.
"You win, Suho. You win." you said and he smiled along with you, as he remembered the small memory.
"You remember? ..Wait.. You heard that?!" he said in embarassment.
"Of course I do.. And I'm glad you won, Suho."
"Me too, ______." he said and paused to look at you through your veil.
"Hey, I wanted to tell you something..."
"Hey, I wanted to tell you something..." Suho said, and you looked at him intently.
"______,I love you..."
And he said the same thing, 8 years later, with the same feeling, the same meaning and the same heart.
