So the song for this chapter is "Beside You" by Marianas Trench, one of my favourite bands. :3

This chapter seemed very dramatic for me, especially in the beginning. ;) GET READY PEOPLES.

Chapter Twenty-Two

"Turn around and show me your hands." Bellamy growled out. Murphy slowly complied, his jaw clenched and grinding his teeth. As he turned around to face Bellamy, he wasn't entirely sure if he wanted to rip his head off or cower in fear in front of him. It was a mixture of both, in a way.

"I warned you what would happen if you came back here." Bellamy said, his gun now pointed directly at Murphy's chest. "Why did you come back?" He growled out again.

There were others behind him, including Conner. Conner was staring at Murphy with a mixture of fear and shock in his eyes, and Murphy was tempted to walk right up to him and literally rip that expression off his face. Or just rip his face off altogether. Yeah, that's good too.

However, he controlled himself. He was already in enough trouble with Eve, he couldn't risk her seeing him kill yet another person.

Apparently, according to Bellamy, he had been staring at Conner a little longer than he should have. Bellamy lunged forwards, shoving Murphy up against a tree before he could react. Before he knew it, the barrel of his gun was pressed under his chin, forcing his head to be tilted upwards. "I said, why are you here?!" He yelled. The others didn't even try to stop him, they knew better than to test Bellamy.

"Because I-" Murphy was cut off by Bellamy gasping and dropping the gun at his feet. Bellamy clutched his left bicep, and it was only then that Murphy saw the arrow that was implanted in the tree less than an inch form the right side of Murphy's chest. The arrow had literally sliced through a bit of Bellamy's arm, leaving a centimeter deep cut in it.

The others all stared at Bellamy in horror, before quickly turning around to where the arrow had come from. They all visibly paled, and Bellamy slowly turned around, moving forwards slighly and out of the way of Murphy's sight. He let out a small breath of relief when he saw her.

The fog slowly disappeared, making her visible. She was different now, she had parts of her hair braided and pulled back into a ponytail, and her hair was wet from water and clung to her skin. She wore a navy-blue t-shirt, and had tied her black leather jacket around her waist with her black jeans matching it well. Her combat boots were slightly muddy, but everything else was clean. She had her bow and arrows with her, the ones that she had when they had left the camp the day before.

She had had the bow raised, but slowly lowered it when she saw Murphy.

"Eve..." He couldn't help but whisper, and Bellamy turned to him with his eyebrows furrowed.

"Who the hell is she?" He hissed.

Eve's eyebrows furrowed and her jaw clenched in anger. "The person that will kill you if you touch him again." She said through clenched teeth.

Bellamy raised an eyebrow disbelieveingly. He had definitely gotten more cocky since Murphy had last seen him.

With that, Eve whipped out a throwing knife, and before Bellamy could register what was happening, Murphy had sidestepped away from the tree. The knife was quickly implanted directly beside Bellamy's neck, less than an inch away.
