So. I'm sick. YAY. I get to stay in bed all day with my laptop and continue writing for you wonderful people! <3 Oh wait... That also means that I'm really sick. DAMMIT.

Well. Anyway. The song for this chapter is "Stop And Erase" by Selena Gomez. I feel like if Murphy was a girl, this would be his theme song. xD Lol.

Chapter 27

Conner stepped out from the crowd towards Murphy, an emotionless look on his face. That look quickly turned to that of anger and frustration at Murphy's reaction. Murphy couldn't help but chuckle and shake his head.

"Conner, remember you haven't fought with him in a month. Just make sure you know what you're getting into first." Jack said, putting his hands behind his back and standing with his legs apart, smirking slightly.

Conner nodded, then walked further to Murphy.

The electricity had returned to the camp within the past few days, mainly during the time that they had been trying to find the 100. There were tall lights now, like the ones that people would have often seen in football fields back in the 2000's. He could see Conner move clearly, and Murphy still couldn't help but laugh.

"You realize that this time, my hands aren't tied right? You can't just punch me and not expect me to kill you for it."

Jack sighed. "Murphy, this is a chance for you to blow off some steam. Not to kill someone."

Murphy groaned, then sighed and nodded. "Fine. I won't kill him." He glanced at Conner with an eyebrow raised. "But I'm not gonna take it easy on him either."

Murphy really wasn't scared, not at all. He was moreso taken by his anger and feeling of superiority over Conner.

Conner stood in front of him, taking off his jacket and leaving himself in only a dark brown t-shirt as he stared at Murphy with a cold and dark look on his face. Frankly, Murphy didn't care.

Eve reached up behind him, slipping his jacket off his shoulders and pulling it off him. "Be careful." She mumbled in his ear, frowning slightly.

He smiled at her before turning his head and catching her by surprise and kissing her gently. He pulled away before leaning his forehead against hers. "Don't worry, I will. It's him that you should be worrying about."

"Are you sure about that?"

"I'm pretty sure we both know who should be the scared one, judging by what's happened in the past while. Don't you think?"

She smiled sadly. "Still. I don't want you to get hurt like I did."

He shook his head. "I won't. I'll be fine."

She noddded, and he turned around to look towards Jack.

"Begin."

Conner stalked towards Murphy, while Murphy just stayed still, now about ten feet in front of Eve. Jack was to their right, and was watching with an eyebrow raised with a very curious look on his face.

Conner was now a foot in front of him, and sent his right fist at Murphy's left shoulder. Murphy swung his shoulder back and side-stepped to the right, causing Conner to miss him entirely and stumble forwards.
